I have been an affiliate for 888.com for over a year and have always received payments. Im not sure what the incentive you were offering the players but as with any casino affiliate program that i have ever seen, you need to have incentives approved. I have never offered incentives to players so im not completely sure of the process involved but most casinos will require higher deposit amounts if you are offering incentives to players.

    Hi Rob472,

The incentive that I used to promote at pacific poker its the same casinopartners which allowed me to use it at Titan poker and Ocean poker So I do not believe that the incentive harms the Poker Rooms but all the opposite I believe that it has so much benefits.

I have seen On the other hand similar incentives which in other pages promoting at pacific poker So I believe that I am being unjust and illegal victim of pacific poker decision so I will try to do all the possible things to get my payment.

And I believe that you would do the same in my place. ;)

Good Luck. I do hope that you receive your payment. However, just because you see these incentives in other places promoting the same casinos as you are, that dont mean anything. You never had it approved by the casino. They might have approved it or they might have even had a higher minimum deposit amount for it to be approved but they can pretty much do what they want because you were offering an incentive that you never requested an approval for. I would try to fight it too but I wouldnt expect much. Good luck.

    # Webmaster had permission for the incentive for set amount of time.
    # Time ran out, webmaster kept on promoting while trying to contact 888.

888 now decide to pay nothing whatsoever? That’s the best they can do? Pay nothing on a technicality?

    Come on people.

Are 888 going to sort this advertising partner out or what? That is the question.

Webmaster had permission for the incentive for set amount of time.

Did he? I thought not, from this thread.

I see. It was a generic offer?..

Anyway, they paid her… Pay her again and move on. What’s the big dilly with these multi billionaires? This firm are just pants.

No, I think it was a special offer that other sites had gotten approval for and apparently the poster put it on his site without approval.

I may be wrong interpreting the situation, but that’s what I gather from this thread.

He did have approval for similair offers from other poker rooms.

We, at the 888.com Affiliate Program, welcome differing viewpoints and constructive criticism from CAP members. It helps us improve our program – and that means better support for our affiliates.

We welcome affiliates who take the initiative in creating incentives for their players. It’s a win-win deal for all sides. However, all incentives must be approved by the 888.com Affiliate Program staff prior to implementation, with no exceptions. Our policy is crystal-clear on our Affiliate Program FAQ in all languages:

“Q. Can I offer my referrals an incentive for signing up through my site?

    A. Yes, the 888.com Affiliate Program allows affiliates to offer an incentive to players who open a New Money Play account through their site. However, this calls for a special approval of the Affiliate Program team, and may require the criteria of a New Real Player to be different than those in the basic Terms and Conditions.

It is also clarified in the T&C.

In BetGra’s case, I personally checked with Account Manager in charge, and although BetGra did not ask or receive prior approval for his incentive offering, she offered to pay for any Real Players (players who meet certain, widely accepted criteria) coming from that campaign. Until now, none of his players has been able to meet the criteria; but were the players to reach the required level, he would most certainly be paid accordingly.

I hope this clarifies 888.com Affiliate Program’s treatment of this case. I will be happy to discuss any further questions this forum may raise.

    All the best!

Which campaign? Agreed to pay for any real players? Did not ask for or receive prior approval?

    I don’t get it really.

Either way, she gets nothing for sending something. 888 get something for nothing.

One month ago in Faq in spanish appears:

¿Puedo ofrecer incentivos a las personas que remito para que se inscriban a través de mi sitio?
    R.
, el programa de afiliados de 888.com le posibilita ofrecer incentivos a jugadores para que abran a través de su sitio una cuenta en la modalidad de jugar por dinero. Sin embargo, esto podría requerir una aprobación especial del plantel del programa de afiliados y que los criterios para nuevos jugadores por dinero fueran diferentes de los estipulados en los términos y condiciones básicos.

And was possible to be understood that an approval was not necessary.

And When I try to contact with 888 to inform to them about my incentive in 22 th October I received 3 times this Error mail. But as I saw similar promotions in several websites I did not think that there would be no disadvantage.

In October I proved the incentive and I received my payment correctly.

But in November after receiving a great amount of users no longer they wish my services and dont pay for my work to me. :unhappy:

I have noticed that have been registries after I cleared all the incentives after the first email of your Affiliate support. I do not have either to receive the commission by those users??

Tomorrow I will try to put one at least denounces because it seems to me that this desicion is illegal.

Thanks, and sorry for my bad english ;-)

I’m not sure what critiria 888 was referencing, but it is not uncommon at all for casinos to require something before they payout.. the only one I know off the top of my head is Absolute Poker.. 100 hands played before you earn… I learned that one the hard way, so it stuck, but many many programs have that kind of requirement..
