Sounds like a fun idea to make! But to make money off it is definitely a challenge! You could make a drinking game application for iphones and earn money that way… Hope this helps a little!
You could try alternate programs like Bidvertiser or Adbrite, but from what I hear, advertisers have gotten really cheap lately. If you can get a good traffic, you will most likely be able to set up your own deals with major alcohol brands for sure.
Not really sure about the whole legal situation and what requirements you would have to meet, so pay attention to that.
Another way is try something like selling products, via Commission Junction or any other website like it. Many people have made fortunes reselling other people’s staff in the right website, with the right niche.
You can always try selling products from Amazon for example and see how this goes. You would really have to examine your traffic, and see the age and the geographic location, to be able to get it right.

There is definitely a gap in the market for this, my only thoughts are selling products via affiliate programs, you are going to get students on this type of site I would imagine, so think of things they would be interesting in purchasing.
