    Included in clause 6.4.3 is, We reserve the right to change such Affiliate Commission Structure at any time without notice.

    This clause is about as clear as mud. You know it, I know it!

    And, people reading this thread are going to wonder, like me, why you are avoiding answering such a simple question, “Does this mean you have the right to retroactively change commission structure?

    Instead of trying to playing semantics, a truthful answer to my question would be great.

    i have forwarded your comments to our legal dept to look into it.

    I don’t know why you’d do that. I was led to believe by someone who shall remain nameless, that these “T&C’s” were copied (cough scraped) in all of; or part of, from another online gaming site.

    When I check 111https://www.videoslots.com/terms-and-conditions/ (remove 111) over at http://www.copyscape.com it’s a take your pick of where you got these from.

    Reiterating lets cut the crap and just answer than damn question, please :D

    Cheers

    Dave

    PS I’ve been in gaming industry since 2000. You were probably still in primary or high school when I first played at an online casino in 1997. So if you don’t mind, please reserve the education for newbies.

    Hi Dave,

    Our T&C’s are used on Our Online Poker site as well, but slightly different.

    If we ever would change the affiliate commission structure, we will give 30 days notice, and I will see to it that it is updated in our T&C’s also.

    Have a nice weekend, & Good Luck.

    Cheers :)

    Thanks.

    However for the 3’rd or 4’th time, you’ve still avoided answering the BIG Daddy Question. Which is:

    @AussieDave 247467 wrote:

    Make that two questions un-answered:

    @Lucas 247459 wrote:

    From the operators I know, they all take into consideration this fee in affiliate agreements.

    I along with other affiliates I’m sure, would really appreciate knowing which MGS casinos are deducting extra fees, hidden or otherwise. Seeing you know who these are, can you enlighten us?

    Given it’s been 8 days and I’m still awaiting the answer to the above questions which Lucas from VideoSlots.com has avoided answering, thought it was good enough reason to bump the thread.

    Given VideoSlots.com are a sponsor of CAP, I think it’s more than reasonable to expect striaght, truthful answersd to my questions.

    Hi Dave,

    Yes, we can change the affiliate commission structure with a 30 days notice if we need to on New Players, although affiliates will always have lifetime earnings on Existing Players.

    Honestly I believe all rooms deduct the license fee, although I will not point fingers on any specific rooms, you are too good in that.

    We will not answer your questions anymore, we have been tolerant and patient with you and you have continously been rude and unprofessional. We don’t accept this type of behaviour as we have done nothing wrong to you. But in the end we wish you all the best, and good luck in the future.

    Kind Regards,
    Lucas

    Ooops!

    I’ve been loving this thread up until this last post.

    I respect both of your opinions and think you are both doing a great job. However, I don’t think Aussie was being rude. Yes, he certainly wants a direct answer to his questions online and up front.

    When I contact customer service departments and cannot get a direct and/or complete reply to my questions I also get a tad irritated, bemused or both. Aussie clearly knows his business.

    The clarification on new versus old players is indeed positive.

    Whether this thread is done or not, I hope that no one goes away with a negative feeling.

    All I’ve expected are straight answers to direct questions about your affiliate operations and the manner in which VideoSlots.com operates as an online casino.

    When any program skirts answering direct questions about their affiliate program & casino operations, instead opts to play semantics, then, not only as a CAP Member but also a long standing affiliate within the online gaming industry, I have to start asking why the avoidance?

    What is a program trying to hide, who wont answer direct questions about their operations. Further more, and in your case, who makes a bold statement and refuses to back it up.

    @Lucas 247459 wrote:

    FYI, there are still some affiliates remaining who care about who they promote. This also extends to how players they refer to any given online gaming venue are treated.

    Any affiliate who asks these questions, in my book is being highly professional because they care not only who they promote but also about their players too.

    Edit: Adding, newbie affiliates are not always savvy in relation to affiliate program T&C’s etc etc. As an industry old timer, I always try to give back something when I can. Hence, asking curly questions is not to antagonise a program but to educate newer affiliates who should be given clear, concise and factual information, placing them in a position to make a good judgement on who they choose to promote.

    Coding question?

    If I send a mobile visitor to a link like http://www.videoslots.com/mobile/?referral_id=darkknight
    Will my referral id be picked up and counted if this person joins?

    Or do I need to go in and create something specific for mobile users?

    Hi Richard,

    Good Morning.

    Yes, that link is good, and your referral id will be picked up and counted when the person joins.

    Let me know if you need anything else, i’ll gladly help you out.

    Kind Regards,
