InactiveLooks like your not getting too many responses here Nick. What I would do instead of embedding the video onto you page. Give the visitor the option of viewing it or not. Give a link with a good anchor text, and nest the video in your root directory. The visitor would just have to click and view.
I know many sites that offer video, but for SEO purposes I think this is the best approach. Some may disagree with this approach, but its’ an alternative idea. greek39

InactiveHey Greek
I might as well tell you my idea
I have a 7 minute video clip, but the first 2 minutes are commercials/ads, etc…
So i want to put it in my web page because it has a nice impact a couple minutes in, kinda like a catchy flash intro
Thats what im trying to do, just have it start playing automatically when the page loads, but i dont want it to start playing from the start, i want it to start playing from a position 2 minutes into the clip
I guess i could probably edit the video somehow and eliminate those first couple minutes, then upload it…but thats all complicated
I was hoping someone knew a code that i could add to my video embed code, like a : Start playing clip from 0:00 that can be changed to start playing clip from 2:05, or wherever i want it to start playing from
