I’m sure you know this, but never change the correct strategy because a maniac, or idiot in this case sucks out on you. You played both hands correctly in my opinion and have just had a run of negative short-term variance (bad luck). Remember that the best poker players rarely suck out on anyone because they usually have the best of it going in.

I don’t believe that Party or any other fair-sized room is dishonest but the place I always felt had the most accurate representations was The Gaming Club (Prima).

actually I didn’t know if I played them correctly. I haven’t learned pot odds, (I definitely have an understanding of the concept), or anything like that; but I am not terribly stupid and those formulas seem to work well for me.
