InactiveThank you for posting about this stuff.
I have removed the great majority of Rivals over the last couple of months. And it looks like it won’t be long before the rest is gone.
One thing I am thinking of doing is establishing a minimum revenue rate for each spot on my site. Anyone who doesn’t meet it, goes.
If they want to keep the spot despite bad performance, let them pay the flat rate, no strings attached.
I am getting tired of this. I run a business, not a charity. I donate money to charities or worthy causes, not casinos.

InactiveMost rivals are doing the same. It’s almost over a months now EWX has been shut down, but they are still deducting what they call Bad Deposits – No Settlement directly from the commissions.
In some cases the total bad deposits is very close to total deposits. That means they are passing on 100% of the losses directly to affiliates. But what I fail to understand is that if EWX is not a deposit option for over a month now, where are these bad deposits coming from??
This is how REAL hard work goes down the drain. And trust me knowing how this industry operates, some of these shops will adruptly shut down citing losses. In a few months time will launch a new brand on a new software with these players. Maybe hire a trust worthy affiliate manager offering him shares of the business to attract affiliates. And when the business is stable, screw the aff manager and in a few years screw the affiliates as well. Then a new brand and the same cycle once again. This is the game many operators play and have successfully survived in the business. Who are the losers – the affiliates and affiliate managers.

InactiveThats exactly what happens. It’s too bad, because I am getting to where I will not give new places the time of day since I have no idea who owns them.

I wonder if when EWX stopped the processing, if EWX also has held the settlement amounts and not released them.

InactiveI was told that they stopped in Nov 2010. Not sure of exact date. What a shame if these guys crumble…

scubachickMemberHi Everyone,
Please let us explain the current ‘bad-deposit’ situation regarding eWallet.
We cannot continue to payout affiliate earnings for not received player deposits.
Same time last year we had a similiar situation with VISA and MASTERCARD and we covered a 6-digit loss and paid all affiliates the full amount. This time we have choosed to share the loss with our affiliates which can be seen for the months of November and December for October and November respectively. Please note. If an affiliate had more bad-deposit adjustments than profit it will be carried forward.
We have not and will not have any influense what-so-ever when the processors are not paying us.
The feedback so far is very understanding responses by affiliates.
We do not suspend the players because of bad-deposits because it has nothing to do with the players only eWallet.
This should explain the current situation and if you have anymore questions please email us.
We apologize for inconvenience.
Best Regards,
Regal Affiliates.January 12, 2011 at 12:33 am #814132Anonymous
InactiveDo you have any expectation of the those settlement amounts being released anytime in the future?
And why did the processor take, and hold those deposits?
