I believe we have had Antoinette research this one before and she assured us affiliates were credited for the exit pops.

Just to confirm this I will move this down to the Vegas Partner area so they can respond.

    Hi Simmo,

I have just tested this and your tag will follow onto the site that pops up.

Please feel free to contact me should you have any queries.

    Regards,

    Antoinette

    Hi Antoinette,

Many thanks for your reply. Its a bit confusing as the affiliate “btag” code behind each banner on the popup is totally different to my affiliate “btag” code. But you know best :)

    Thanks

    Simmo!

    Hi Simmo,

I just went to your site now and clicked on the Cinema Casino link and saw that the your tag has carried through to the exit traffic.

    Regards,

    Antoinette

For anyone reading this, Antoinette is absolutely right.

While the tags in the source code appear different to your own tag, when you actually click thru on a banner, it *does* retain your proper affiliate ID.

    Thanks Antoinette

    Hi,

that was not the case when I contacted VP over the very same concern. That was about 9 months ago I’d guess.

I wrote them including the code I had copied off the exit page and without telling them why; I asked them if my ID was somewhere in the code. They replied it was not.

I have since been assured by them that this problem has been addressed and fixed; but now I read your post and am curious once again.

This; as many such instances could be avoided by simplifying the codes so that we as affs; can view the code and ALWAYS be able to see our IDs in the code.

we are asked too much to go on faith as it is; especially when we find small issues such as is questioned here; I mean consider this; if on the one time I happen to check an exit popup for my code being in it; and it isn’t there….

am I to assume that was the exception, rather than the rule?

    Now add to that: it leaves me this to think about: I have no way of checking your exit pops to see if my ID is really in the exit popup codes or not; and the one way I knew would get a straight answer; being that I wrote asking if my ID was in the code I sent (without telling where I had obtained the code); that next time you’d be looking for that question; therefore I couldn’t use that method as a way of checking to see if my code was truly in it or not;

Now you can get offended if you want to; but again I ask you to consider from my point of view; I am asked to give total faith and trust in you to be treat me honest and in fair manner; so I do; but the one time I happen to check: it comes back that my ID isn’t in the pop up; am I now wrong; am I being offensive to want some assurances that I am getting treated fairly?

I admit there is little you can do to prove to me that my experience was not the norm. That it was the exception; not the rule.

So I am left with the choice of condemning your program forever; or giving it another chance.

Which by the way I have done; though I’ve cut back traffic to the only casino that has ever proven to be proftitable; I think that is being more than sporting under the circumstance and I think any reasonable human being would agree.

The reason I am posting now however is because I am certain it was my post that was referred to in the begining; and I wanted to let this person know (in case I didn’t make it known in the earlier post they’d read) that I had not completely condemned VP but that I believe they are trying to treat people in an honorable fashion and for that reason; I didn’t give up on them.

However at present time due to the fact that I can’t view the code and know if my ID is in it or not; I am left to going on the occasional report from a player or when I send a tester thru to deposit: to knowing if I am getting treated in a fair and honest manner.

So far I can say I haven’t found any more discrepancies but I admit I haven’t given it the attention I should have; opting instead to just cutting back traffic to the one casino that had proven to be profitable in the past.

Rest assured that if I do find any more problems with the tracking or reporting that I will be sure to report it here at CAP as a warning to others not to fall in the same pitfalls I have stumbled; and I hope others here will always do me likewise.

I hope this might help put to rest some of your concerns with VP; knowing if nothing else; that there are others who are watching and will report if they find something unsettling.

I certainly appreciate your post. Its good to ask if you’re not sure because the least you deserve is to know.

    Hi guys,

We have corrected this a while ago. When you close one of our sites you will be able to see your tag following through on the exit traffic.

It was a pleasure meeting you bb1webs.

    Regards,

    Antoinette
