InactiveWith a heavy heart I switched from my beloved Palazzo to Bally’s.
I couldn’t get all the rooms I wanted the way I wanted them at the Palazzo, and Bally’s is bending over backward to get the business and the rooms and suites are all remodeled and brand new.
Other pluses are the good buffet and one of my favorite restaurants is next door at the Paris.
So, this time I am giving Bally’s a shot, but I bet next time will see me back at the Palazzo. Is the Encore finished yet? Maybe I’ll try that next time, but I am just not that fond of the Wynn. I’d like to see the Encore before I try it out…

Inactiveoh well, the Palazzo made me an offer I can’t refuse so I am spending a couple days at Ballys with the guys and then moving on to the Palazzo. I knew that Bally’s thing wouldn’t last with me, lol.

vladcizsolMemberPalazo is much better. Ballys is SOOOOO old they put a walker in your closet instead of an ironing board and a complimentary denture cup is on the nightstand.
At turn down service time the nurse leaves a minature box of prunes on your pillow instead of the usual chocolates.

InactiveActually, the south side of Bally’s is supposed to be pretty nice now – all brand new. But I will see.
The Palazzo just reminds me of the old, palacial Hotels in Europe, as the Venetian did also. I enjoy walking around in there, it’s magnificent. The two are connected and I end up doing a lot of walking just to look at everything again, and that’s a good thing for me. I am on a mission to do a lot of fun walks, do them here too.

InactiveWalking is what I do to blow off steam on stressful days. If I come to Vegas it will be like a book in a day type of thing..lol It is between Vegas and a play on Broadway right now so pretty much a toss up. I know I want to be in Vegas and the other half of the party wants to be in NY … ugg
