InactiveI have previously had hosting accounts with HostGator, IX Web Hosting and FatCow. I don’t have them anymore.
With all three host sites, my service was severely limited once my websites started to grow. I had to move them all.
Hostgator was along time ago, so it looks like they changed

WineGuyMemberHey Jillo
Have you heard any news lately that make things seem more likely that online gambling will be legalized?
I haven’t been watching the APCW videos lately, so I’m out of the loop a bit.@JillO 239714 wrote:
So, are you prepared to tap into the US Market? Forecasts are still VERY strong in pointing to the end of 2012 being the re-launch of legal US online gambling. CAP strongly advises iGaming webmasters to start strategizing and preparing NOW so you can hit the ground running once we get the “Green Light”.
For your site prep & development… in the following are some of the best US Hosting Providers that iGaming Affiliates can partner up with. If anyone has experience with these providers… please do share your thoughts as well…
On another note… what are you doing to get yourself ready for US Regulation?

Thank you so much for your feedback and sharing your experiences. First I’ve heard of any issues with these providers… Would you be willing to share what hosting providers you would recommend?

Thanks for checking in!
To be completely honest, we haven’t heard of any major news from the DOJ as of late. However, several indicators/actions have been pointing to legalization happening sooner than later. As casinodude mentioned… there’s been a lot of movement with Trump & 888. Not to mention Everest Poker getting things in align to be the first legal online poker Operator for Mass. A ton of movement is happening in Las Vegas & CA as well. Obviously, when we hear any major updates we always alert the community.
But… it is very fair to keep on the path of original forecasts pointing to the end of 2012 for regulation to be initiated.
Hopefully this helps…

For low cost hosting I’ve been lucky with ipage.
I even contacted support at one of the other hosts with a problem I had with a script working.
They said the script was not good.I tried the same one (and a few other ones) at ipage, and they worked right away.
The hosts all had the correct specs needed for the scripts.May 15, 2012 at 1:52 pm #824435
