Is anyone else besides me seeing really low conversions from US taking Casinos? I’m aware about the depositing issues with credit card processing. However, when I asked the affiliate mangers at the casinos, they assured me that everything is fine and it hasn’t hurt their conversions much because players can still use Visa. So I’m taking their word for it and testing it out.

But the last two casino that I ran, these are the stats I’m getting:

Casino 1: Welcome bonus offer (February)
1108 clicks, 322 downloads, 55 real registration, 1 depositing player

Casino 2: Free no deposit promo (March)
    891 clicks, 301 downloads, 180 signups, 1 depositing player

WTF? I don’t get it. At this rate, I might as well throw in the towel.

The other possibility is that the quality of traffic is bad. But I’m still sending clicks, downloads, and registrations over to the casinos. 180 signups to 1 depositors though?? comon!

Is anyone else dealing with the same issues with US casinos? If I run traffic to only non-US casinos, will I get the same results?

No deposit promos will rarely see depositors or have a much lower conversion rate since the players are usually only after free money…

Can you tell us which kind of welcome bonus the first one is? There are literally hundreds of different types of them so “welcome bonus” on its own doesn’t tell us much. Might help to list the site that the traffic is coming from and what kind of players you’re targeting.

I get much much better results from US casinos than other casinos, but then.. my traffic is mostly US.

I agree with Renee. The main point in american traffic is its quality: maybe comparing the performance of banners triggering 1st deposits could give you more elements to analyze.

Retention and developing of the new depositers created through your banner is mainly a responsability of the casino, but I think affiliates can also contribute with their Retention and Players Development efforts.

One other aspect: Do you have comparitive data from the same casinos & traffic from 3 and 6 months ago? For many sites, conversion rates across the US have dropped significantly and the problem could be the specific rooms themselves.

No comparative data. Only started running traffic to these casinos.

The welcome bonus is the standard 100% match bonus.

    Hi TripleClubs,
The stats you show are low. I think you can do few things in order to be able to analyze your stats more correctly:
    1. I’ve noticed that you have similar trackers on your “deposit” and “nodeposit” sites. I think you should have a different one for each site or each type of traffic. Only that way you will be able to analyze the results and to improve.
    2. Similar to the first one: on deposit sites, such as depositbonuscodes.com, the offers on the home page should be deposit offers.
    3. I think Renee mentioned that on another thread: it’s always good when players can see the same bonus on your site and the casino site/LP.

    Just my 2 c.

That’s really really bad especially if its coming in from targeted US related keywords. If that is the case, dump the casino asap! You should be getting at least one depositor per 20 hits on your link/banner.

What are the casinos you are promoting?

Some casinos at the moment have problems in accepting US credit card depoists.
