GuestHi Liz,
actually I think I heard somewhere that you have until tomorrow midnight but don’t hold me to that

InactiveSo far as I know, the deadline for filing Federal Tax Returns is midnight April 17 this year. As you know, it’s usually April 15, but b/c of the 15th being on Sunday, the deadline was extended. So anyone who hasn’t filed was on borrowed time already.
Of course, there’s filing an extention, but what’s the point, since you have to send in the money with it anyway…they don’t extend the deadline for the money…not ever!!

i watched a video on IRS about a year ago and did a lil search for you now.
Part I http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXuCmnl3sD0
Part II http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xW7uIkgl8wk&mode=related&search=
for a non-US citizen, i did find this information information and educational. i’m not sure on whether i would pursue this issue with the US govt unless i took copious amounts of acid…but then again, i’ld probably would’ve been lost on my quest in some level of dementia

Yep, even with an extention, you’ve got to send cash with an “estimate” of how much you think you’ll owe. Might as well go ahead and file anyway.
Ya know, April 15 is only an issue if you owe money…if you’re getting a refund, they don’t care when you file….lmao.
