    Hi;

    We are going to investigate this for you Goldfinger and make changes ASAP if needed.

    Will keep you posted.

    Cheers for now.

    5. Combination of cookies and sessions

    This is the best kind of tracking system. A small percentage of people don’t accept cookies on their computer, so the only way players in this category will be tracked is if sessions are used.

    Yes, cookies tracking the last referrer for a year or longer even better with session tracking added would be ideal IMO.

    Yep. :)

    This is something that will take time to implement, though, as Marvyn explained to me on the phone yesterday.

    By the way, if anyone is interested, over here I have posted a list of programs that track by using sessions only. I also included a list of programs that use cookies.

    Edit: Earlier in this thread, I said that “Jackpot City is the only Referback casino to track with sessions only; the other 3 track with cookies.” This is not correct. Actually they all use sessions. Cookies are “set” by 3 of the casinos, but the affiliate tag is overwritten if you close the browser and then type the casino URL directly into the address bar.

    Hi Marvyn,

    did you have a chance to investigate why our account email adress shows up in the fortune cookie that is set on every visitor’s computer? Also what does the other cookie do that I talked about. Cheers!

    Hi Goldfinger;

    That cookie is there simply for login to the Fortune website. You should get to our website and the only entry you need to make to login is your password.
