Just a quick question, can I use the old trackers and will they still work?

Im sending traffic this way: GSN: xhttp://www.goldenrivieracasino.com/index.asp?BTag=graff2086

    VP: xhttp://www.crazyvegascasino.com/index2.asp?btag=AfBtag558001001

And my personal thoughts about the new site. I don’t see any improvments and I hate when operators doing things like this. You had a 2 great aff programs, now you have one bad site and 80% of webmasters are confused. Big changes are always a problem! Problems = small or no earnings.

    Alex,

I already addressed this but it did not help……….

    http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/bb/phased-out-casinos-redirect-with-wrong-links.27472.html?

What a stupid idea to redirect phased out VP casinos to GSN casinos and visa versa : makes us

I think the only way we will be heard is to delete the banners/links on our websites.

    What a mess.

I am spending so much time on this program just to replace and correct links it just has to stop now.

    I don’t want even think about it…

I am not lazy but who wants to do the unneeded job?! Just because some manager decided to merge 2 programs :( I don’t see the point… I only see the problems. And I don’t have enthusiasm to to anything.

Delete or replace with other MG brands is the best option for me in situations like this…

Why managers do not asking our opinion? Maybe we don’t want any changes at all….

I just do not understand that more CAP members respond to VP threads.

I guess they have more time than me to change all links, but as I am a newbie I must be posting irrelevant things.

    Guys,

I understand that you are frustrated, I have asked our dev team to
compile a brief on how the redirects work and I will post it here a bit
later. I would until then like to assure you that all redirects in terms
of organic traffic and banner/media traffic has been tested and all
tracking does carry through during website navigation to download
    and registration.

The old links do work and they will continue to work for a few months,
until we shut down the servers that are hosting the images.

Alex777, we did this to improve the overall infrastructure of our business,
unfortunately not all aspects of a business is open to public debate or
negotiation but what we did do during this period is take every aspect of
our business into account, including affiliates.

Yes, I agree that not all change is good at the beginning or easy to
manage but ultimately it is needed in order to improve and develope
areas that there is either room for growth or to prevent losses.

The brands that were dropped, were dropped because they were the
lowest performing brands across both the groups.

    Also, the links

    GSN xhttp://www.goldenrivieracasino.com/index.asp?BTag=graff2086

    VP xhttp://www.crazyvegascasino.com/index2.asp? btag=AfBtag558001001

are linked to your new StarPartner account, you will notice that when you
lgoin to your account/s on StarPartner you have a “new” affiliate ID.
These tags are linked to your new affiliate from which the data is
collected on a centralised database table for each account. This ensures
that all traffic is being recorded and all earnings are being captured
correctly. I will post a detailed brief later that wil explain everything.

The brief is available please login to your affiliate account, you
will see a link on the right-hand side or you can download it
    directly from http://www.starpartner.com/pdf/understanding-new-starpartner-tracking-system/understanding-new-starpartner-tracking-system.pdf

This will explain the banner tags process in detail .
