I think players enjoy tournaments and if properly run they add great value to a casino.
Benefits include:
* They give affiliates something to feature as quasi news content. This is far more effective then the usual banner and paragraph of breathless hype we see with general casino reviews.
* They give you product differentiation from the hundreds of other online casinos out there.
* They raise the loyalty level of the participants.
* If the prizes are generous then the winners can be announced in a press release that provides further promotion for the sponsoring casino(s)
Now as to the types of games, my suggestions are the big three with players; Slots, Video Poker and Blackjack. But I am amenable to any games you wish to have contests or tournaments for. You can even create a sort of Ironman type competition by combing several different games.
In short, I think tournaments are an excellent idea bishop

Tournaments are great and I will be keen to promote them.
I like a heads up on these so I can plan special displays or newsletters.
Also agree with what Professor said
but unfortunately we really only have video poker and poker players…any tournaments for either and we’ll happily promote them! We seem to have a good conversion rate when either are promoted.Thank you to all the replied. We feel here at Focal Click that by doing tournatments we will have something different to advertise and I will thank you all in advance if you decide to promote them.
