InactiveThat’s pretty ridiculous pricing.
You made $1k in 2 months ($500 / month)
And your bin is $50000??? So, 100 months revenue?
Sorry, but you might want to re-evaluate the value of this website. After all – it is 2 months old and has no PR.

InactiveI concur with KWBlue. Your site is only 2 months old!
This post is almost comical.October 1, 2006 at 3:39 pm #708269Anonymous
InactiveI have a difficult time figuring out how you get more traffic than I do. I looked up high stakes poker and you are not even ranking for that term…
Also if you did get that traffic you would be looking at high 5 figures or possibly 6 figures a month.

InactiveYep the bin is way way too high for a new site that receives very little revenue.
Why don’t you post some screenshots of where your getting your traffic from and for what key phrases because i have a hard time understanding how your getting that much traffic but hardly making any revenue.

InactiveI am absolutely shocked that vetarans in this forum would hijack a valid sale like this.
KWBLUE – we put up the banners at the end of august and this site was started as a HOBBY and just exploded in traffic
OPIEMARKET – The site has 50,000 Targeted Poker visitors all viral and organic visitors only 2 months into existence! You must be new to this industry because that traffic is incredible.
Antoine – As the OP suggests Although there is alot of white space on the site, and most of our ad space is sold to advertisers,
Cyclone – All the keyphrases are very targeted poker terms that do not even register on overture or seobook.com . Our top phrase has over 750 visitors and it shows on overture as “0 searches a month” . Publicly showing this keyphrase info would be business suicide and sabotage things for the new owner.
For any potential buyers, we just put a Full Tilt banner in the header to show where you COULD put advertising. We never had ads in that top header before as it was a primarily a hobby site. I’m sure somebody putting more advertisements up could easily pull $5,000 the first month.

He Does clearly state where all the traffic comes from and gives screenshots.

Inactive2 months old? Is it all paid advertising?
Your saying that the site has made 1k in that 2 months correct?
My main question.. Why sell it?

My main question.. Why sell it?
Yes that is correct , it is more like 1 month and a week because in the begginning we had 0 ads on it.
And in case anyone was wondering, I am the co owner of this site.
Edit: Selling it because we are moving on to bigger projects

InactiveMy suggestion would be to keep the site for 6 months so you can build a stable revenue. No one is going to pay 50k for a site thats new and you won’t reveal the key phrases for.
You can’t just say you receive x amount of unique visitors without showing everyone proof of the traffic sources and the key words that are bringing that traffic in.

The traffic sources have been proved http://www.highstakesreport.com/ads
You are really killing your reputation in this industry by crashing threads like this IMO it’s probably the most unprofessional thing that is allowed on this forum. Any interested party that would like more stats I will be more than happy to forwared them your way.
EDIT: $50,000 is the BIN price, while there is actually no reserve set on the auction.

How am i killing my reputation, ive been in this industry for 5 years and have seen a lot of people trying to sell dodgy websites, i’m asking valid questions. Will you reveal the key words via pm so its not publicly displayed?

InactivePrivate offer of $2,500 and now $3,000 at Poker Affiliate World.
Min Bid now $3,100 – To any potential buyers your monthly revenue could start from $1000 – $5000 depending on how many banners you put up. This site was primarily a hobby for us but the traffic has exploded.

I have been browsing these forums for 3 years and am pretty surprised that such an unprofessional comment came from you, especially one that has no merit.
I can give full referral stats, but like I said the keyphrases are just too valuable to tell anyone since we are dominating the search engines and the competitiveness for these keywords is almost non existent even though our traffic is soaring.

Hopefully nobody takes my passion for anger.
I just want to make sure that my partner “SuperAffiliate” doesn’t get treated like a scammer when in fact he is a very valuable player in the industry.
