For those who don’t know, fortunelounge has launched a new casino – thunderluckcasino.com. It has exactly the same bonus terms and conditions, as well as being registered to the same people as all the other FL casinos. Now they have done this directly to the players, emailing them with the ‘great’ bonus deal, encouraging them to sign up direct, rather than even giving affiliates the option to promote them. Doing this to their past players they can expect to pick up a large number of players who we originally sent them, and not have to pay a cent out in affiliate fees. Maybe to them this seems like good marketing, and other casinos have done it many times before…but to me you are meant to work WITH us not against us. We put all the work in to make or break your casinos, and then you just screw us over at any opportunity (lets face it, this will have been planned, and loses us picking up a lot of players). Maybe other people don’t see it as a big deal, but to me it just shows how little fortuneaffiliates really think of us 😡

Sorry, if I am wrong, but what is your point exactly? I mean, surely if FL mails there database it is to the benefit of the affiliates that has for a long time been supporting them? It is called retention! Bring back those players brought to them by affiliates before, making them play back in the FL group! I must be missing your point but the more I think about this the less I understand your statement.

because those players will go and play at the new casino for which you will recieve no revenue, without you having the opportunity to promote them?
you never even get the opportunity to get the player tagged to you in the first instance..

    I find this quite upsetting.

There is nothing to force Fortune to let us promote new casinos, but this speaks volumes about their attitude!

I would think affiliates are valuable and Fortune would be happy to throw us a bone. Add this and the rake back stance together…… Fortune is not taking care of it’s affiliates like it used to it seems.

    Penny wise and dollar foolish….

I’ve honestly just about given up on Fortune. I don’t know why, but I just can’t get their casinos to perform, even though their creatives are great and their look and feel is great too. But at the end of the month, the money’s just not there for me. (I know other people have had different experiences with them; that’s just been my experience so far.)

Fortune Lounge and Thunderluck Casino share the same operational infrastructure, but are in no way connected. Yesterday a Fortune Lounge-branded mailer was sent out promoting a new alternative payment mechanism called Ucash to a very small segment of players. In error the FROM address was promotions@thunderluck.com. The said mailer contained no direct links to a Thunderluck Casino; if anyone is aware of any direct links please bring this to our attention immediately as there has never been any cross-marketing between the two groups.

Incidentally Thunderluck Casino has been around for over a year and does not have an affiliate program.

We would like to stress again, that Fortune Lounge and Fortune affiliates have no connection with Thunderluck Casino, and apologize for the confusion.

    Ok, thanks for clarifying, David.

Just one question – Thunderluck would not be using your player’s mailing list, would they? That would explain the erroneous sender address.

Because if so, they would still be marketing to the players we sent without reimbursing us.

    Hi Dominique

    Thanks for this.

    Definitely not!
Thunder Luck is not at all connected with us or Fortune Lounge.
This was not marketed to any of our bases so don’t worry.
This was just the wrong email address being used on a very small send related to payments and with NO promotion of Thunder Luck.
Thunder Luck has no Affiliate program and Fortune Affiliates does NOT work with Thunder Luck at all.

    Thanks.

Thunderluck has been around for a while – I distinctly remember giving Fortune the same type of stick more than a year ago LOL. So don’t expect Thunderluck to join the affiliate program any time soon.

    Thank you, Marc!

As long as the Fortune Affiliate player base is not used to market this casino, I don’t see that it matters at all.

If it did tough, that would be a matter of great concern.

    Thanks for the reply!
