However, affiliate managers have an obligation to drive more players/affiliates to promote their brands and are always looking for new affiliates.
If our programmes/brands don’t interest you, it would ideal in my eyes to give us some feedback as to why.
Thanks for all the posts – it shows I am not alone

I agree with Chris… Feedback on why you aren’t interested would be ideal for us.

InactiveIt’s interesting to note that no one seems to like phone calls. When I was active, I got called too – and hated it.
On the other hand, I prefer email – and one of the biggest complaints I had is that some – in fact many – aff programs were very slow to respond, if they responded at all. It was the very few aff programs who understood that fast responses were necessary who got the bulk of my business.
In other words – if you see the email come in, don’t leave it until tomorrow, or the next day – treat it like you might treat an incoming fax or phone call – immediately. If you treat email like snail-mail, then expect your business to grow at a snail’s pace.

InactiveIt’s not only the affiliates that prefer email and msn – When I first started selling advertising, stands etc to the affiliate programs I found it almost impossible to get hold of them and would call all the time to try and introduce myself – I then resorted to email and “hay presto” everything sold out (well almost)
Email and msn are great but they can also use up vast amounts of my time – Often I find myself taking loads of time to discuss a point on msn or email which could have been dealt with in 2 minutes on a phone call, but I do love having a records of everything and doing multiple things at a time so I am conflicted on what I like bestNovember 22, 2007 at 10:08 am #754710
poluroud20MemberMSN Messenger is great for me personally but I think it’s essential trust is built up beforehand.
As Alex says, phone calls can sometimes be quicker to resolve something.
But negotiating on MSN is much more fun than via email!

InactiveMSN can be fun and useful but I would limit the use of this except to nudge someone every now and then. If you gotta use voice, Skype. We can’t really control a phone ringing, but we can with Skype.

Pol PittMemberAs an affiliate manager, I personally prefer email or MSN. And I agree with the previous post, Skype is a good solution if you need to resolve or discuss something quickly – so it would never fall on an inconvenient time.
