ClubContMemberdoes everyone always steal content from you? lol a bit of a bad joke but these thieves seem to live your copywriting the best. Any luck contacting the affiliate managers to either put an end to it or to let them switch the tracking to you?

InactiveLOL — yeah, I guess my reviews are popular among thieves.
Some affiliate managers (like Renee from Rewards) close or freeze the account on the spot. Others have contacted the offending affiliate, although I don’t know what they say to them.
Thus far I haven’t had any managers switch the tracking to me, but I do believe that would be an appropriate thing to do — especially if the affiliate refused to remove the copied content. Simply closing the account means that 100% of any revenue generated in the future (if the links still worked) would go to the affiliate program instead of to the creator of the content.
My current approach to theft is (1) contact the offending webmaster, (2) name and shame on CAP, and then (3) point affiliate managers to the thread so that they can take action. As of right now, I have just finished the naming and shaming. Next, I’ll be PMing and emailing affiliate managers.

InactiveNo, it’s not that they mainly steal from engineer. It’s just that he is publishing it.
I go on a hunt periodically and I tend to try to get them kicked off their servers instead.
Theft of content is rampant and it’s about time we all did somerthing about it.
It hurts our sites, and it’s a rotten thing to do.
GO ENGINEER!
