What a jackass, I had a different choice word I wanted to use but I will remain the lady…lol

I hope every affiliate program will do the right thing and ban him, close is account, refuse to pay him and then maybe he will have all the programs he has COPIED from you blacklisted, then who can he promote?

I noticed dom that he has Lucky Emperor blacklisted. Is that because they questioned him on his thievery?

Well, the person who has been busy copying my site is now trying to blackmail affiliate programs.

    Here is mine: http://www.gamesandcasino.com/blacklist.htm
    Here is his: xhttp://xmen11.nexuswebs.net/blacklistedcasinos.html

    Here is mine: http://www.gamesandcasino.com/bingo-forum/
    Here is his: xhttp://xmen11.nexuswebs.net/worldroulett/

Bingo Rewards, one of my best performing Bingo programs, asked him about the duplication.

Well, he threatened to blacklist them, and did so here: xhttp://xmen11.nexuswebs.net/BINGOONLINE.html

    and here: xhttp://xmen11.nexuswebs.net/blank_1.html

He is duplicating my sites, then duplicating the duplications.

If a program stands up for what is right he blacklists them….

Amazing how shameless and rude the scrapers have become..
I find this frustratingly funny.. it’s just like copying from the movies and shooting someone to kill then when the police comes to arrest the shooter he is trying threatening them for that.

Ah, that must be a new development.

Maybe I should add a “recommended” page, just like the blacklist, but the opposite, where I praise places for going out of their way to set things straight.

Mention on such a page would certainly outweigh being blacklisted by this joker by miles.

Kind of interesting, we can keep track of who is actually doing something.

If every program contacts him, he will have to blacklist everyone, and all he will be able to promote is 888….

This is correct. He tried the same stuff in an email to me and threatened to go to the forums. Good luck to him here :)

Renee, tell him that all of his earnings will be transferred to dom. That will get him to change his ways!

I must agree with AXL, that is the way it should be. This fellow really needs a good dose of reality. greek39

Blackmail is a serious offence. It should be reported to the authorities.

    Hello Dominique,

Here is a little story for you

After my last post and a couple of e-mails, I did get in touch with this affiliate who tried to tell me that it is a free web and no one can tell him what to do, so basically I told him that stealing content is illegal and that we take no responsibility for his site and that his account will no longer be active until those sites are down.

After a bit more correspondence (I guess that mentioning law suites did the trick) he finally got the point and as I can see, took the sites down.

I hope that from now on he will write his own content.

    Glad I could help,

    Sincerely,

    Ori

Thanks Ori, Renee, Judith, Laurent and Charles and everyone else who took the time to explain to this guy that theft is theft, even on the internet. He sure was a tough cookie. I hope no one s blacklisted anymore.

I should start a “whitelist”, maybe a blog, and mention people who do the right thing…..

Hopefully he got the message for good, because next time the delivery will be a lot less friendly. You think, Greek?

I agree and thank for everybody’s help, there is no need for Dominiques site to be consistently ravaged in this form. Oh he certainly did get some messages, if it flairs up again it won’t be so friendly. No honest webmaster should have to deal with this BS. greek39

    Dom,

Did he gain copies from scraping or did he just manually pull the code via his browser?

I’m still working on the prevenative scraper proggy just taking a bit of time, a few distraction lately.

    Cheers
