GordonaReidMemberWell I promote some nice US No Deposit Offers for Poker and Casino, and depending the program they all do decent. Poker has moved away from the incentive offers like this years ago, but Casino haven’t. No Deposit offers obviously are targeting recreational players, and not the ballers/whales. But there is a lot to be said about just getting players signed up to various rooms.
If the rooms are doing their jobs, then they will eventually convert a lot of the players. the BIG Issue is most smaller casinos and poker rooms have no idea how to convert players that originally had no plans to deposit – So that is where the real issues come in.

InactiveWhy do all the hot new slots like Dark Knight and The Mummy come out on systems not available to US players. It is because those USA based games are not really legal and you cannot invest in products with an uncertain future?
Because they are owned by publicly traded companies that cannot be associated with companies that may be doing something that may not be 100% legal.
My question to you is why you’re only targeting US players. There’s a whole world out there looking for no deposit casino bonuses.

I agree with all that you say, especially the part that I have quoted above. I regularly get player emails from some of these casinos – the offers are sometimes tempting. But too often they just make you ‘snooze’

You are absolutely right!
I do tell my visitors that theses casino “Accepts USA and International Players”. But, the sad part is that the slot games available with the bigger no deposit bonuses are ‘pretty much the same’ from site to site. All those players that get these bonuses must be getting very tired of the same old thing.
To convert ‘no depositors’ to ‘depositors’ there should be something more exciting to offer.

bosshoggsMemberSuch incredibly shrewd observations here folks. Just wanted to bump up this thread in the community. Very interested in hearing more opinions from affiliates.
Again… the burning questions… Given all that is involved, once the US is legally running again, will affiliates be able to fully participate in this market?
I’m not trying to sound like a wide-eyed optimist… but I do think it is possible. With so many of the large operators getting geared up with licensing, signs are pointing to affiliates being a part of the bigger picture. But when that “timing” will allow for it… who knows…

InactiveI see two very plausible scenearios on the opposite extremes.
Negative – After cleaning up the online gaming scene, the DOJ and all state licensing organizations severely limit advertising and promotion of online games where money is won or lost. Requires strict compliance to a set of mandates, background checks and licensing agreements along with large fees for casino sites and affiliates. Goes after and sues violators (including affiliates). Facebook, google and yahoo dominate the scene.
(Long term effect – Only the ‘big guys’ can participate legally. Fosters a dramtic increase in international based operators with illegal games)
Positive – USA citizens can legally play online casino games of all kinds. Reliable casino sites are monitored for honest games, payouts and payments. Funds processing becomes simple and reliable. Affiliates continue to flourish and provide quality tips and information for the gaming public. Google is allowed to accept casino advertising but due to it’s dominance in the search engine market, it does not directly promote real money games itself. Facebook apps developers devise affililate programs to increase their market share in a competitive manner.
(Long term effect – Everyone wins. Shady operators have no advantage and close down)
