InactiveHey, This is the Captainette (Patty). I am home from the hospital as of yesterday around 12 noon and I am feeling much better. I wanted to personally thank you all for the well wishes, love, telephone calls, hugs, flowers, and prayers while I was in the hospital. The Captain has great friends and I am so proud to be his Captainette. My prognosis is good and the nodulars they found, at this time, feel were just from the pneumonia. I’ll be having an x-ray rather than a scan in 2 weeks. I have been diagnosed with Moderate Emphyzema. I have not had a cigarette since March 22 before I was hospitalized and plan to stay smoke free as I want to live for my husband and my daughter and I have a lot of friends out there that want me stay around for awhile. All of you are such wonderful people with big hearts. I want to especially thank Lou and Marie Fabiano, Ben and Valentina Ogden, Rhonda and Brad and Stacey Wilson. Now it is time to focus on the Captain as I have extremely stressed him out. I now have experienced death, life, and choices in such a short period of time and I prefer “life. “with my very loving and caring husband. We fight like everybody else but what do you expect after 30 years with the Captain! Ha! Ha! (He’ll get me for that one) Thank you again and God Bless.
Sincerely,
Patty:clapper:

InactiveCaptainette (Patty) ~ I read where you were in the hospital in Bristol, Tenn. I grew up in Bristol, Virginia. This is the first time I have ever seen anyone post that they were from that area. My dad and brother live in Abingdon, VA. Anyway I just had to say something since it was so unusual to see that town name posted. I hope they treated you good in the hospital and do hope you are feeling much better !

InactiveThank you for your well wishes and I hope that good news can become contagious as I send my love and prayers to the two of you. Sometimes we are dealt some really bad cards and even though we take the draw it seems that our hand isn’t any better. But, as long as we have the love of our mate, the love of our friends, and the love for life, we will prevail.
