Have to agree with you there.. I think it will be interesting to see what he does different to the rest and to see if he can change the minds of those people who think he can’t.

I think profressionally for me the best thing this year was getting to meet a lot of affiliates id never met before.. I hope that becomes a highlight of every year for me..

Worst thing this year – I can’t really put my finger on one in particular.. neteller/kentucky etc etc – pick your poison…

The glass is still half full though guys.. and they won’t get rid of us without a fight!

Personally, I have had a great year, done everything I want to do in my personal life.

    Worst – Martyn’s jokes?!

I can’t think of a best thing because i’m a miserable old sod (perhaps Spurs winning the CC)

There were too many worst things to mention so i’ll stick with the most recent, my hangover last Sunday after the totesport xmas party (still suffering now).

Bestest thing has been the birth of my little baby boy, Nathan

The worst has been the slow inevitable slide in the value of the pound where it is now almost on parity with the Euro – living in Spain it’s cost me a fortune!

I would have to say the circulation of ring sting in Barcelona was the worst thing (I’m sure Tony will agree with me) and possibly the best thing too for the people who didn’t manage to get it.. Maybe Martyn’s jokes were up there on the list though..

Personally though for me outside of the industry…
Worst thing would probably be trying to get back on my feet after suffering a massive financial loss from a bad long term break up…

Best thing: I travelled to more places this year than in the first 24 years of my life LOL
And all by myself.. went to Canada for a holiday by myself for 2 weeks, down to Melbourne a couple of times, not to mention Barcelona.. and the rest of the year will see me going to the Gold Coast and Melbourne by myself too.. So I’ve become much more independant and pretty comfortable with being alone :)

I also managed to watch the first 5 seasons of Scrubs (on the 6th now), all 4 seasons of Grey’s Anatomy (can’t wait for season 5), the first 6 seasons of Will and Grace, all 3 seasons of Roswell, the first 2 seasons of Medium, and season 1 of Outrageous Fortune (on the 2nd season now). That’s a pretty big effort for me since I spend most of my non work time on my computer :P

There is always an upside to every bad situation – at least you weren’t arrested!

    Best thing for me personally

The way all the CAP members came to my families aid this year when we were in danger of becoming homeless.

My heart was so touched and my family is in a better place now, and we are no longer in the bad shape we were in…things are hard, but thanks to you all here, they are managable.

Thank you for all of us,
with love and respect, we hope to be
able to repay the kindness to others
    in the future.
