InactiveI think this is a really good mover forward and what I want to have discussed is exactly what is rogue and have a proper set of rules that programs abide by but this has to be discussed and decided with teh industry in mind not simply the affiliate = What I mean by that is it can’t be one sided as it has to be accepted by both sides to 100% work going forward.
I am really looking forward to what will come out of this and if possible would like to dial in

InactiveYou are not the only one who wants to dial in and we need to check into it…
I doubt it will be a quick and easy agreement, but I do thnk it can be done.
And yes, definition of rogue is the ever escaping issue…. but one has to have a stab at it for once.
I don’t expect this to happen all that often, but obvious theft of comissions like Grand Prive comes to mind immediately.
It will also make it lots easier for message boards to communicate with programs on this, since no message board stands alone to take the possible repercussions, but all stand together communally.

InactiveI think we are seeing more and more examples of affiliate unfriendely behaviour from many programs. There are, however, also affiliate programs that really understand how to deal with affiliates! I hope it will eventually show to be the right strategy to work with affiliates as equal partners.
Dominique, I think your suggestion would help up us in the right direction. We want to support the programs that understand and treat affiliates as equal partners, and we want to get rid of programs that are top-driven with no clue about how this industry works. I think we can all think of quite a few examples of this.
