Yeah, I know… That’s why I was a bit upset to see this in my logs. I really don’t like the fact that the word ‘Activx’ was in there. I am sure it should have been ActiveX – and that worries me as well.
I am stumped, I could guess a person viewing your page done so by using activex controls, perhaps to site rip or do something of that nature. Maybe block the IP or put in a 403 for that IP?
Are you hosting your site on your own server? That part of the stats is showing where they were on your site, rather than how they were browsing your site. I would be worried that a hacker has poked a hole through your firewall and is sniffing around your hard drive. I should say that I’m not a techy by any means, but maybe check your hardrive to see if that path is on your system.

I had Anthony look at this thread and the site rip” assesment is his guess as well. Since he has the education in computer forensics I would say he is prob right.

And, I talked to some others with a bit of knowledge who say that it is likely someone scraping my homepage
I guess soon enough we can add me to the list of those who have been scraped. Whoever it is will find out soon enough that my domain isn’t going to help them rank
I mean, it hasn’t for me! :kissass:kwblue, don’t be too worried about it. Its not a site scrape but a rip where the person basically dismantles your site into sections and uses the images ect… to build his own. But to be safe do some computer checks as webber286 had suggested, you just never know nowadays. greek39
