Hey guys
This might be a strange question, but has anyone had any probs in the last 2 weeks or so with a huge amount of bot signups to the aff programs..?
They generally have an email at gawab.com or gmail.com with a capital letter for first and last name in the email followed by a number. The name in the email address is usually greek. (eg CharalambosPapadoupoulos55@gawab.com)
They sign up with the same first and last name eg Vassillis Vassillis (they are usually greek too), and the address they use has a US state, an Asian city and a European country.
The email address bounces the welcome email and if i visit the URL they have entered its generally just a page with a list of text links for porn and sheet music.
I’m really confused about it.
Any info would be much appreciated.
We had this in summer but took steps against it. We started to get like 100 signups a day, which kinda stuck out.
What you need is some form of image validation, once we added ours it stopped straight away.
