InactiveCapture some email addresses and then figure out other products you can market to them. Or perhaps sell the list to a poker room.

InactiveSend them to something like GoldenPalace’s “Free Play” landing page.
That way your only promoting free play, what someone else may or may not do afterwards is out of your hands.

InactiveI was hoping a poker room would offer me a .net tracker and I could just send players there. But no poker rooms have that. Maybe the golden palace page might be the way to go. I wouldn’t mind forwarding the traffic if I was compensated.

I think the whole point of .net sites is that they are 100% money free, so tracking would make no sense. If you want to track just in case someone goes to the .com version .. the whole point of .net would vanish .. And would probably give them a hard time if they want to promote them the way they are now..November 1, 2006 at 10:36 am #714214
mnemonik23Memberkdollar do you have any relatives or friends outside the US? If so sell them your sites for $1. with the option you can buy them back at the same price any time in the future. Get them to open a neteller acount or whatever you use to collect earnings. Change your payment details in all your affiliate accounts to that new one and get them to send you a cheque whatever when there is income and give them say 10% for their troubles. You keep earning and are not at any risk.

InactiveI don’t want to sound like a broken record but … I have always had my best results from email marketing. With this new law, which is still not enforced, I have also removed my site (it always performed rather poor and was mainly a gateway for newsletter signup) but marketing didn’t stop … I have believed and still do that properly crafted email newsletter that delivers people information they are looking for (with your affiliate links) is a great means of marketing. Strangely enough I was once of the few who did so in gambling niche, or so was reflected in results of the poll I had run on this forum about 3 weeks ago. I’m still recruiting JV partners for purely gambling list building giveaway and anyone interested in this option welcome to participate. Sorry for rather long post ..

InactiveThe idea of the .net is people signing up for free, but then getting an email some day, and upgrade for the complete version. For worldwide players you can use EverestPoker.net (but not for US players).
If you want to use my affiliate code, just PM me and I will gladly send it to you
