InactiveQuestion,
How does the Starnet program perform? I used to help run a Starnet software casino about 5 years ago.. they sucked at the time, grew too big too fast.. their backend stopped working because of the load so we ditched them.
Interested to know how they rank now, they used to be the largest.

InactiveHi guys,
Here is a statement from World Gaming on this topic:
“World Gaming’s System Administration team will be performing a major system upgrade on July 13, 2003. During this time there will be no service for three full days beginning on July 13 at approximately 11:30pm (after the grading of the sports events) and ending on or before July 16 at 11:59pm.
This upgrade, which will improve availability, is designed to increase performance, reliability, and transaction volumes.
World Gaming is dedicated to providing its customer with reliable service and optimal performance.”

Inactivehonestly Cedric,
If you were not sitting in the chair you are…..
I probably would not bother giving them another chance….
I do hope you will not be restricted from doing the things that need to be done….

InactiveThanks Rick.
Like most of you, I heard the stories on Starnet for the past 5 years and I had some doubts about their backend.
Before I started the Gaming Income affiliate program, I had serious discussions with the IEE Ltd operators about the software and backend. I saw the details that I wanted to see and did several testings. I was impressed and satisfied with the results. They will even provide the webmasters with a new backend for affiliates that will surprise most of you.
Of course, IEE Ltd manages their own customer support and payment processing and it does make a difference for the players.
Try one of the following casino & sportsbook and see for yourself (of course, wait for World Gaming to complete their upgrade
):Pyramid Casino
BetonUSA
InterchampsLooking forward to hearing for you.

vladcizsolMemberCedrik you certainly have your work cut out for you :eh:
Starnet has not been a favorite of most webmasters and I have heard numerous horror stories about them too since I entered the business. I wish you luck and I think if anyone can make it work its you.
On a side note, three days for a sofwtare update is absurd. I could understand if you were relocating servers and waiting for the new IPs to propgate, but a matter of new install and database conversion should not take longer thena few hours at worse. :dozing:

InactiveThank you Prof for your feedback!
I agree. Three days was a long delay for upgrading their system and servers. I’ve seen their new updates and you will understand why it took so much time. World Gaming came back from far and I believe they will be more competitive with their new products.
By the way, I received the results from last month. Every affiliates made money with the horse racing (OTB). Yes, ALL affiliates. That’s on top of the NO negative balance that Gaming Income offers on the casino games.
The new software is now live! Have a look… http://www.betonusa.com/javagames/index.htm

InactiveI have been promoting Cedrik’s sportsbooks by mail and they are converting nicely. I usually have no luck with sportsbooks.

InactiveWhat sportsbooks have you been promoting? I used to advertise pyramid casino with their “own your own casino” option and there is no way you can get paid (only $500). They seemed ok when I started…they always replied to my questions.

InactiveI promote betUSA. When I do it through my newsletter I get player feedback too and it’s all good so far.
Mind you, it’s a new hat for me. The stats are good. I feel a bit out of the water as I don’t follow sports, but so far I like the results.

InactiveHi Markoh,
Hope all is well and thank you for your comments. At this moment, BetonUSA is the casino & sportsbook that is doing the best. The brand is easy to promote and the new casino games are making a difference for several affiliates. I like your portal and you have the right market to promote the BetonUSA Off-Track Betting (OTB). Last month, ALL our affiliates that promoted OTB in their program had a positive balance. It’s worth trying it.
Bravo Dominique for your recent performances with Gaming Income! The BetonUSA mailer that you sent last week is converting well.
If you’re a webmaster and need anything from Gaming Income, please contact us at 514-748-0218 or at [email protected] and we’ll do our best to answer your requests.

InactiveHello AFFManager,
What I was trying to say was that I didn’t get paid from pyramid. I’m not complaining about low conversions.
I don’t know who runs this affiliate program anymore. All I know is that they refused to pay me 500 bucks.
..but ok no problem you find non paying sponsor, send a few emails.. nobady responds and u move on.
What makes me mad is that some guy Steve was insuring me for months I would receive my money.that’s all
take care

InactiveHi Markoh,
This is news to me. If you don’t mind, I will investigate this matter. IEE Ltd started Gaming Income, an affiliate program that regroups BetonUSA, Pyramid Casino & Sportswager and Interchamps.
I would appreciate if you could contact me personally at 514-748-0218.

Cedrik

InactiveI agree with Professor on this one.
Starnet (aka World Gaming) has done a bang up job with their affiliates by simply not paying the majority of affiliates. They are on CAP’s scam list and have been there for at least 3 years (the length of time I’ve known Professor.

InactiveThis is true Marc,
But Cedrik enjoys years of impeccable conduct with affiliates, and he now runs that affiliate program.
If anyone can sort this out and turn it around he can.
I for one am going to continue to trust him way above many others.
