InactiveUnless you really need the money why not go out and enjoy the days for the next month and then only work a couple of hours a night. This is the benefit of being self-employed. If you want it do it, life is too short to sit in front of a computer all day.

InactiveOh yes I’m in a state that is known for raining 10 months out of the year and last week when it hit 75 and I was sitting inside trying to work looking outside trying to talk myself out of going outside I realised I have a laptop and took myself out there to the patio.
Now laptops can’t go anywhere and have internet so I find stuff I can do offline if I can and hit the beach. Another thing you can do to combat Spring Fever that I do is work in the morning and then at night that way you still have all those nice sunny warm hours to play in!!

mayur2505MemberWell, I am currently working from our Spanish offices in Mallorca and the weather is beautiful, so imagine that torture! :3eyes:
But we all finish at 3pm on Fridays, so straight to the beach!
To answer your question – take a week of holidays and enjoy your spring fever… everyone needs a break now and then!

InactiveIf I get up and sit down at the computer right away, I can work until done.
Once I go outside I don’t want to go back.
So, I work immediately in the morning and quit as planned. If I don’t plan when to quit, I don’t until I am too tired to think.

InactiveI did my work many years ago in this biz so when it is slow like this I have no trouble enjoying life.
Would like to get out and do some fishing, good thing here we drop the line 5 minutes out from the marina because the shelf drops to 200+ feet just off the coast.

InactiveI think your fever should break in a couple days as summer officially begins.

vladcizsolMemberSummer holiday is just around the corner so I guess I can hang on till then.
This year we decided to skip the usual cruise and are taking the kids on a tour of the east coast. We spend four days in Myrtle Beach (fishing, beaching, relaxing)
Then we move on to see my best buddy in the world The Captain and his family for three days in Virginia, then we head to Hershey Pennsylvania for three days to visit Hershey Park and Harrisburg area.
Then we head to Manhattan for four days. We have front row seats for The Phantom of the Opera, dinner on a yacht in the hudson viewing the city lights, Steak at Peter Lugers and the usual NY stuff like the Statue of Liberty, Radio City Music Hall, Empire State Bldg and site of the 911 tragedy.
Then its back home and back to work.
