Ok, like most eveyone else I plan on doing spring cleaning at my sites. I am starting this weekend and I intend on swapping out some stinkers for hopefully better producers.
What new programs have you tried out recently and were impressed with?
I am most interested in PERFORMANCE. Please post newer/smaller programs who are producing Results for you. We all know about the biggies so dont post Casino Coins, Referback, Fortune or anyone else that we all have anyways. Lets find some new diamonds in the rough. My candidates for newcomers that are working out nicely:Who’s Hot –
Wager Wages
Vegas PartnersWho’s Not
Such a long list I will just say the usual suspects are finally getting the boot. (I know two people are going to run in and say “OH I am making a fortune with those” these are MY stinkers.)
Fallen Star Network (Golden Star)
Casino Profit ShareWhat are you reccomendations for worthy new additions? Who gets the boot?

JanetMay 2, 2003 at 7:58 pm #639012AnonymousInactiveHey guys,
I have been reading through alot of the posts in this site and am learning alot pretty quickly. A buddy of mine and I are really eager to make some $$$ thru the net.
I personally do a bit of gambling online and figured it was a pretty lucrative business. I am familiar with what i think are among the top sites out there but not all of them offer ways to make money other than gambling.
But i am getting the picture that there are 2 main ways for someone like me. Either I set up a game portal with a bunch of links to other casinos and take a chunk. Or I hook up some sort of plug in casino which boggles my mind. I would have figured setting up a casino was more difficult than that.
So I have 3 main questions:
1. Are there any other ways out there?
2. Of the above mentioned programs, which are more legit companies?
And finally,
3. At this point in the game how does any body make money? Isn’t the market completely oversaturated? So what techniques are used to drive traffic to my sites? and if it requires me to spend a little, how much am i looking at?
I’d appreciate any direction from anyone.
Peace.
Jigga

Let’s hit those questions:
1. Are there any other ways out there?
Affiliate marketing via portals, direct email, online and offline advertising are the main ones we discuss here. There are also private labeled casinos or outright ownership of a property. People also earn money via support services, CPA brokering between casinos and affiliates/advertisers, PPC search engines, exit traffic sales and banner/pop up sales at their sites or within a network.
2. Of the above mentioned programs, which are more legit companies?
There are good and bad in both types of program. Always perform due dilligence before committing to any online business ventures. I suggest you narrow your selection down to specific programs then post questions here and at other message boards for feedback from others who may have already worked with the programs you are most interested in.
And finally,
3. At this point in the game how does any body make money? Isn’t the market completely oversaturated? So what techniques are used to drive traffic to my sites? and if it requires me to spend a little, how much am I looking at?
Yes, people make money. Some make a very good living. Most dont make very much. Many lose money by the truckload. The market is hotly contested and there are certainly no guarantees of profits. IF you work hard and smart and advertsise effectivley you can carve out your own niche, but its not a walk in the park by any strecth of the imagination. This is basically true of any business online or off.
People drive traffic a variety of ways including:
Gambling Portals
Search engine optimization
PPC advertising
Banner Advertising
Online and Offline Promotion
Email MarketingHope this helps Jigga.
May 6, 2003 at 2:52 pm #639036AnonymousInactiveWOW!!! Thanks for the time to respond Professor.
I just want to clarify some terms.
Buying a property means buying a gambling portal, an actual casino or a white label casino?
Do people sell their gaming portals and their casinos for that matter? If so, how do i find out which ones are for sale and if the people selling them are legit and honest in any way. There’s an aweful lot of anonymity on the net. I see alot of offers for plently of things but it’s too tough to make a deal with out a trusted broker. Is that a service provided here?
Also, i notice that lots of traffic is driven from the portals to the casinos. Are there any casinos that drive traffic to portals? I don’t imagine there are but if so they would probably want to send players to a portal that is only promoting their own site. If that is the case, what is the rule regarding promoting a single casino or a single brand ie microgaming or cryptologic?
Thanks for your time P.
May 6, 2003 at 7:05 pm #639039AnonymousInactiveI have removed all fortune lounge and casinopaycheck casinos. These never made a dime for me.
I am still undecided on wagerwages.
Casino Profit Share is slowly being removed as i find alternatives. The casinos dont make enough money especially for the exposure given.
Casino Kingdom and Captain cook’s are keepers, especially captain cook’s as they’ve been the best performer for a year now.
Casino Coins i’ll be pushing only English Harbour and Caribbean Gold, they still do decent, but the newer properties cant convert for me.
Referback… i get nice checks but that’s mostly from refered webmasters and nearly nothing from players, out of 400 players only 2 are active! It takes over 400 hits to sign up one player.
Roxy Palace – still undecided.
I’m really trying to figure out who to keep, i wish i could just promote 5 or 6 casinos since the rest dont seem to do anything. Some of these properties get 800 hits sign up one player who desposits 20 bucks….
May 28, 2003 at 2:28 am #639100AnonymousInactiveJust my views on the previous posters mentioned programs.
Casino Paycheck, Did a bit the first month for me, but then never moved, stop promoting them a long while ago.
Captain Cooks, Moves when promoted but nothing spectacular.
WagerWages, Just started with them and i’m seeing some nice numbers.
Casino Coins, Some months wildly good, others quite lame.
Referback, Not great at first, performing very well last 3 months.
Do any of you make big $$ referring other webmasters? I haven’t done much on that angle yet.
Regards,
May 28, 2003 at 8:58 pm #639111AnonymousInactiveJigga, I’m thinking about selling http://www.gamesandcasino.com and all the portals hanging off that hub.
If you are interested you can pm me. I haven’t quite made up my mind yet.
May 29, 2003 at 10:36 pm #639126AnonymousInactiveI do very well promoting other webmasters.. here’s my stats for Captain Cook’s:
Total Affiliates Signed to Date
Level 1 Level 2 Level 3 Level 4 Level 5
66 778 493 137 56For this month:
Affiliate Signed Commission $833.91 (this sometimes is much higher)
I view signing up webmasters as a back up in case my own promotions go to hell… a backup to pay mortgage and insurance.
