The CAC conference has an admission price and the sponsor programs, which there are quite a few, receive a certain number of free passes to give to their best affiliates and/or whoever they choose. If you are a good producer, often you can also get the program to pay for your flight and hotel stay.
The Spring Break conference is a free admission conference, you just have to worry about travel / hotel. If you are a big enough producer and ask for a program to fly you to Miami and put you up, you probably have a chance of receiving something.
BTW, this is all stuff I have researched, not from the perspective of a super affiliate, because I am not. Also, the CAP spring Break is well worth the cost of flight and hotel. You will get much more out of the networking and learning opportunities than any cost involved.
LadyH I will be happy to answer any questions you have regarding CAP Spring Break. Its a yearly gathering we organize in Miami Beach. It’s basically a networking event were we all get together and enjoy all that South beach has to offer. Complete details are available here:
Regarding sponsorships. We do not charge any admission to affiliates or certified partners. ALL of the events you see (Two Evening Cruises, Dinners, Lunchs, Cocktail Parties, BBQs, Beach Parties etc…) are paid for by sponsoring programs directly via the hotel, restaurant or cruise broker. We do not have ANY markup on any event. We do this so that 100% of the monies a sponsor spends goes to making each event special.
We do not view CAP Spring Break as a profit center or a business venture. It’s done to reward our Certified Partners and our Affiliate members for their support through out the year.
We enjoy doing it, and through the support of the programs involved we can afford to do it. So we do.
Its a GREAT time for all and I really encourage everyone who can fly, walk or crawl to Miami to join us. Do it once and I GUARANTEE you will look forward to it every year as much as we all do.
