Affiliate programs to avoid are ones that have tricky stipulations like “carry over” and minimum player clauses. You don’t want to do all the work and then be told that you get nothing from it because time ran out or you didn’t meet a minimum. From what I have heard, Bodog has started a minimum player rule and Bookmaker has had one for about 2 years or so now. Bookmaker wants you to have an active 10 players, that is ten players betting and funded accounts, when you ask for a withdraw. You can have 50 signups and deposits, but unless ten players are currently playing, you are screwed.

Another sportsbook/Casino with a great player reputation but with a terrible affiliate history is Legends (formerly Legendz). They simply don’t like to pay. Many people think their tracking software is flawed or they simply tweak the numbers. I also think they do porrly with converting signups into deposits. Regardless, I have known affiliates waste years with them and not see a dime for their troubles.

can anyone confirm both of these scenarios without me running off to read T&Cs?

Not that this is good news for the new Bodog affiliates, but the player stipulation is not for those of us who are/were affiliates before this new T&C went into effect. Existing affiliates are still under the old T&C and by the way, the new affiliate program for Bodog is much better, in my opine then, it was 3 or 4 years ago.

maybe the worst of them all. Legends. I emailed them three times. Then when I called, they said I need to email and that was the only way they could talk to an affiliate is through email. I told them my emails go unresponded to and then they were basically just silent on the other end. LOL I have no idea what is going on down there. And apparently, nether do they :) LMAO! again, I am talking about http://www.legends.com

“All Affiliates that join the Program after June 1, 2010 shall be subject to the following additional provision. In the event that Affiliate does not generate at least three such Referrals, Affiliates entitlement shall drop to 10% of all applicable Net Revenue for such Referrals. In the event that Affiliate later exceeds the minimum Referral requirement, as of the data of Affiliates re-instatement, Affiliate shall be entitled to the percentages based on Net Revenue in Section 5(c) for future Net Revenue generated by Referrals. Affiliate shall not be entitled to the above-noted percentages retroactively, notwithstanding their reinstatement.”

Skybook is another affiliate program I would avoid. They owe me about $25,000 now after a couple years of no pays.

Bodog pays affiliates. But, their online reporting leaves something to be desired. And if you try to email or call someone in their affilaite department, you are definetely going to wait days for a response.

BWIN / Bewinners is another program to stay clear of. They have the worst terms in the industry!

Problem books I found: Bookmaker ,BetDSI

Good Books: 5Dimes,BetJM, Bodog, Affcorner (Betphoenix & Skybook (recently))

AK did Skybook owe you that money before or after AffCorner took over the opertation?
