These thieves have pulled the same stunt on me this month, taking a significant 3 figure sum.
Sportsbet/IASBet and Paddy Power should all be put on the rogue list. Rubbish programs with awful terms and rogue behaviour.
I really disliked these terms that I was forced to agree to, otherwise have my account cancelled.
It puts me in a dangerous position – promote them highly, or risk losing all the customers I’ve referred over the years. I don’t like to post anything negative about affiliate programs as a general rule – it’s not very helpful. However, if people understand that this is PADDY POWER we are talking about, maybe, just maybe those outside of Australia would care.
Unfortunately, until something like this affects others, not just “those few Aussies” will they care, then they may wish they’d spoken up earlier and defended us.
First they came…
Now that Paddy Power have purchased SportsBet.com.au as well as IASBet.com, they have closed IASBet.com abruptly with no notice (that I recieved) and I’m left wondering what will happen to the betting clients I had referred to IASBet.com.
The punters (I was one) have been migrated over to the SportsBet website, so shouldn’t they be also added the the SportsBet affiliate program?
Affiliate companies have been doing my head in for over 15 years now… I really need to start my own business that is entirely in my own control, not at the whim of others.
