Thanks a lot you all for your thoughts, you really gave me a valuable information. I really need to decide what to do, I am not even sure if I want to get in this business.
It seems very interesting to me that a website like casinoprophet.com is making the most money while he does not have a very good content in his website, or something else like a good forum.
I would have expected that the best content websites like WInneronline,bet2gamble and casino meister (3 that I at least know about) will profit the most.So If I decide to put my effort into this, where should I invest? good content? great graphics on the website? or attract users through advertising in places like searchengines and other places?
1 word. advertising.
Advertising has worked well for me too. Mosly pay per click.

I would say half a million is a bit over kill. that is way before and advertising budget takes its share and the advertising budget definately would eat over half that figure ….
I gotta laugh when people speculate on these things and the prophet does not brag as well … He is a very factual person so that is for sure a high estimate. As well I remember when the sugar daddy asked the prophet if he was making 5 to 7 million a year …. the prophet about fell over laughing. He also told the sugar daddy there was no way he pulled that much free and clear after all the high priced advertising.
I personally think its no ones biz how much I make a month or a year. But as well the people making big profits are the first ones around this industry as well they also are putting large amounts into advertising and the return takes some time to see come back as well. Plus this large advertising budget is carried on month after month after month always …. The parable here is that you cannot come into the industry with a pocket full of rocks and think you will have a pocket full of diamonds a few months later.

I personally dont think the half a million figure is high. In the year 2000 i was clearing 70k a month after expenses. The only reason i dont have that money now is due to a bad business venture. At the time i barely did any advertising on overture.
I know it’s not the year 2000, but when you’re at the highest commission for all of the programs, and you’re blanketing the internet that figure seems reasonable. Do a gambling search on lycos or hotbot.. look who has the top banner. On overture he’s usualy in the top 5.
The actual figure is not really the point. It was just an estimate to indicate what the potential profits are. I also dont think that internet gambling has the highest profit margins at the moment (but it used to) Webmasters in the phramacy industry currently make a lot more. But with overture and google pulling all pharmacy ads that might change.

I used to earn a phenomenal amount of money with Online dating. Unfortunately, the program I worked with (The OneandOnly Network) was bought out. I tried a few others including Adult Friend Finder and Match.com but they didnt produce anywhere near the revenue I made with one and Only.
I am sure there are a few good ones out there though.

I was considering attending both. It’s not the actual ticket prices that are holding me back (even if they are expensive in my opinion at least for such an event) It’s more the price of the flight and hotel.
