InactiveI received a email on this. Its’ true, Windows Casino is going to be a hard sell. They are listing as rogue in several places. I have played there a couple years back without any problems, but never cashed out.

InactivePlay United stays autonomous but some functions are shared as I understand.
Or maybe they did get bought and the aff program stays autonomous. Not sure of the details there, but should not affect us in any case.
Windows and Hampton ad Portofino were bought by KS. And another I forget, maybe Goldkey, not sure. They will be integrated into Wager Junction eventually as far as I know.
No details as yet, and so far no effect on affiliates as far as I can tell. Haven’t spoken to Greg in some time.
This is the year of mergers, like I’ve been saying. The industry is contracting, existing players are becoming more valuable as new ones become more scarce, and the industry is maturing.
Overall this should be positive for us as we will be dealing with solid programs that have the money to serve us properly.

InactiveEmail from Greg re: Changes
Quote:09th February 2006Hi Elizabeth,
Firstly I would like to firstly introduce myself to those of you who do not know me. My name is Greg Gomes and I am currently the Group Affiliate Manager for the Wager Junction group of Casinos. The reason for me contacting you is that this group now constitutes the Casinos that you are currently or have promoted in the past.
These Casinos are: Windows, Gold Key, Magic Oasis, Hampton and Portofino Casinos.
I am proposing to make a number of changes that we feel will benefit you our partner. I have outlined the proposed changes below and I need feedback from you regarding this. I want to make the changes effective as of the 1st of March as we have a lot to do together to make these Casinos better than ever.
I am very excited by the addition of the Casinos to the Affiliate program and look forward to creating you even more revenue in the coming months and years.
:: Proposed Changes ::
The following are the proposed amendments1) We propose to get rid of the Net Reserve – That means that you will now be paid what you have earned. There will be no retaining of founds.
2) No Processing Fee – Again you will be paid what you have earned without any deductions.
3) Minimum Payment – This will remain at $20
4) Preferred Method of Payment – Our preferred method of payment is Neteller and you are welcome to ask us to change your payment method. We want to ensure that you get your funds as fast as possible. If you still want to be paid via check that is also fine. Just let us know if you want it to be changed.
5) Amendment of Comm Rates – To enable the implementation of the above i need to ensure that partners fall within the Wager Junction commission structure. I will need to amend your commission rates to reflect the above savings. The changes made will be determined by your current commission rate and activity.
All of the rest will remain the same as previous. The above are my proposed amendments. You will be able to continue marketing the products in the normal way with the same log ins at the same URLs until such time that we move to the new Affiliate program. Even then you will be given the choice to market on the new or old platforms.
To finalize all of this and to ensure that we move forward as smoothly as possible I would appreciate it if you could email me with your comments and suggestions by the 23rd of February.
The Wager Junction platform will be moving to a proprietary affiliate program within the next few months that will allow you to market a number of new products such as Bingo, Poker, Lottery and Casino partners. It is going to be a revolutionary product and will mean that your traffic works harder for you off a single link instead of the multiple links that you now have to use.
I look forward to hearing from you and hope that you agree to the above as I think it is the first step to a far brighter future. The first words that pop into my head are : A New Window of opportunity arises.
Best Regards,
Greg Gomes

InactiveI also beleive that the management has been replaced at the Windows group too which is probably a very sensible move if WJ are to turn them round. Its a huge risk IMO – the past rep amongst players is going to take some cleaning up.

InactiveThe e-mail indicates:
“We propose to get rid of the Net Reserve – That means that you will now be paid what you have earned. There will be no retaining of funds”
I have several Private Label Casinos through Windows Casino and have money in the Net Reserve.
Am I going to get the money that has been held back? . .
