InactiveI am far away from having the knowledge of how to modify an aff link and it still be tracked.
That would be valuable info please Prof. If possible could you post how you do it?

vladcizsolMemberOh come now Joeyl, you are far too modest. You are a very clever and enterprising fellow. I am sure you have viewed sites where redirects are being used.

InactiveDon’t ever say nice things about me Prof. I will get a complex and fall apart ~ some more.
I will add what you mention to my to do list. Reading up on lsi before such basics is a bit stupid i guess and serves me right.
Cheers.

InactiveQuote:but also the loading time influences SEO.Spiders aggregate page info. I know of 400+ kb pages that rank well in the magor SE’s. Homework counts I guess. If loading times in fact influenced SE’s we would all go back to the 24kb max page sizes!

InactiveVery sorry about the, er, shocking image on VegasReference.com. I had gotten tired of people stealing my images so I put some code on the server to display that image whenever someone embedded my images into their websites. Unfortunately I was careless and it wound up showing up on *my own* site.
It took me a while to track down the problem. It wasn’t a browser issue, which Kenneth suggested, it was a case-sensitivity problem. If you went to vegasreference.com it was fine, but if you went to VegasReference.com it wasn’t. Whoops.
There’s irony for ya. Maybe doubly so, because I always insist on serving my own banners. I usually do for the Wizard at WizardOfOdds.com, too. One reason is that we don’t allow animated banners, and if I let the casino serve the banner then they always try to stick in an animated one. Plus what someone else said, I think Dom or the Professor, that sometimes the casino’s server is unreliable and our own page would time out.
Anyway, it didn’t seem to hurt in the auction where I was selling adspace on that site. It closed at a record level. The space I’m selling for the Wizard on GamblingAds.com, though, that’s another matter. There’s less than a day to go and I’m worried that the auction will close at a record *low* amount. Maybe I should *accidentally* substitute a naughty picture to generate some publicity….
