InactiveI learned a ton by going to seochat.com and reading, reading, reading…after that start reading through the forums…it should all become clear to you after a month or so of reading.

InactiveSEO Related forums are the best way to get tons of information. The only problem I see with them is there is too much info, some good and some complete nonesense. Use your common sense and if something doesnt sound quite right, it probably isnt. There are no “magic bullets” in SEO. Build a decent site, do your keyword / phrase homework, and get some backlinks. Over time you will see results.

InactiveI quess learning a little seo is good but I do things a little different. Start buy doing things honestly. Write pages that are full of content not links. From you content grab keywords from there.
This approach works for me. I just design and write content blindfolded but be honest. Do no let search engines enter your mind or seo it takes away from being creative. Do not look at other competitors this only distracts your goal and takes away from being creative.
Try and be different, unique. On my first try at online gambling I found many intro pages just overloaded with links to where ever? Content make it unique and make it honest and make it your own.
My site is a bit unusual, and I admit, a bit ugly. But the traffic is there my serps are very good, and making some cash. I achieved pr4, although I could care less, in less than five months of launching my site.
Step outside the box.

InactiveWhat the heck did you load onto my computer when I went there?
Whatever it is, let me know how to get rid of it. I do not appreciate unknown stuff on my machine!!!!

InactiveWhere did you go, Dom, that you got something? I clicked on all links and typed in some from this thread and don’t want anything on my PC either.
Thanks.

InactiveYour not referring to my site are you? I dont even have pop ups on my site as I think they are most annoying for players. I just have simple links to casinos and poker rooms and thats it.

I got one of those little windows that usually spawn staggered popups and drive me nuts – it loaded something to my computer but I still don’t know what. Maybe cookies? Beats me.

InactiveOkay the pop up is a cookie, the reason you thought you were downloading something was because your cursor was over the download button. I do not get the pop up because my active scripting is always off and my popup blocker on.
Nothing to worry about Dom I get the same window when I go check my hotmail account. its a h window harmless. greek39

InactiveOk then. I don’t like the looks of these – I associate them with spawning popups.
