More content. That’s the key. As you create content and the search engines pick it up, you will gain some traffic. Eventually you will figure out what people are searching for to get to your site and then you can modify the content and gear it towards their needs.
Also, put a template on your forums and add a few categories in there. Even if no one is visiting them now, it is better to have your site complete than leaving the default phpBB logo on there. That shows that you are not serious about the site.

I agree with kwblue about content. That forum needs some work and if you are going to use it as a basis for visitors to gather at…you might want to make your link to it more visable.
