Based on my recent activities, Google is waiting patiently to hear from me. The engineers will remove the site within 24 hours. This depends on the severity of the problem.

Some do have to wait a bit longer with spam reports to take affect. This is mainly due to the bot used. It is a automated procedure that sniffs through million of pages at a time. Just as Dom has said. greek39

SERP fluctuations are determined by Google’s algorithm (ie: a computer), while spam reports are reviewed by a person. I believe this person is Matt Cutts, and he has been openly asking for people to submit sites that are considered spam, so I would imagine he has his plate full. Give it a week or two and see if anything has been done.

I reported this site to Google on Monday, and they’ve done nothing. The site is alive and well, with over 20,000 pages indexed. I sent another spam report just now.

Am I submitting to the right place? I’m using this form: http://www.google.com/contact/spamreport.html

I fully expect Google to take action against sites like this. How many reports do I need to submit before they actually DO something about this? How long does it take to get results?

I have never known them to remove anyone based on Spam Reports. What does happen is their algorythem does eventually catch up with the spammer, but this can take months or longer.

Keep an eye on the site(s) you reported and let us know when they are removed. It would be really uplifting to see it happen in a timely manner, but I am not holding my breath.

I just received the weekly report from copyscape (copysentry). Sure enough, casinocitycentral.com remains prominent.
