Was browsing through http://www.webhosting.info hoping to find something decent.
When i stumbled onto http://www.barginregister.com/ which is housed on the Cayman islands. It looks exactly like http://www.namevault.com/ (bahamas). Gosh, so shady! Look at the logo even -_-
I’ve tried a lot of registrars and I think Name.com is my favorite. It’s a clean, easy-to-understand site, and the prices are good.

I have been very happy for many years now with my registrar namespro(dot)ca
Customer/Tech Support replies literally within minutes, with solutions and suggestions.
However I use mostly national .ca domains and for that the pricing is good.
.com and others are a little pricy out there…

This is the first ive heard about worries with american hosting sites, most of my sites are on uk providers but i do have a ton of sites with godaddy, have you got a link to a news story or something about it please

name.comEnom.com is the best. I have over 300 domains and some affiliates under me.
I’ts safe and easy to manage your domains and if you want to sell your domains you just push your donain into the buyers enom account.If you want I can set you up for an account thet get you lower price on domains. Or just go to enom.com and set up your accout but you pay little extra for your domains and renewal..

I have Fabulous.com and Namecheap.com to but Fabulous.com is only for my domain parking Namecheap.com is not an option as they siply suck.

Check out Nom de domaine – Gandi.net – Enregistrement et Transfert – they are based in France and are extremely protective about the domain names they manage for their clients. I would NOT recommend eNom under any circumstances (we’re actually in the process of moving our entire portfolio away from eNom, although that is a daunting task in itself).

Wasn’t eNom part of the whole kentucky debacle? It rings a bell..
I’ve never had any probs with namecheap.
