InactiveI don’t think it should be here at all – I find it very, very distasteful – but that’s just my opinion and others may have different views.

InactiveGross, and sick. Isn’t it enough to know the man met justice?
The thing that makes people watch this is the same sick human trait that had people watch victims get torn apart by lions or beheaded and all of that throughout the ages.
Ask me, it’s the root of evil, regardless of the justification provided.

InactiveJust 100% justice.
Hope I can see very soon his daughters in jail.
Living the great life in the exile with the money that belongs to the Iraqi people.
The defense of Saddam was supported with those funds.December 31, 2006 at 3:07 pm #720443Anonymous
InactiveI am not arguing with the justice of it at all, I am saying WATCHING a man die by human hand is sick!

InactiveYou have the right to ask me to remove it since you started it.
But – you don’t have to do that because of my opinion. It’s in the free for all, which is where people can duke it out if they want to. (within some limits)
So let me know.

biggygMemberI have been in Iraq in 1993 for part of a religious Trip.Although I was not muslim , my friend made it possible for me to go to Middle east for Hajj In Saudi Arabia and then we went to Iraq by Bus to visit some historic sites there. There were markets set up , people sell food and crafts in the streets .Sunni and Shia hate eachother and this goes back hundred of years. No matter who they put in power there , there will always be killing among Muslims.I think Saudi Arabia ,Iran ,Syria and Jordan have to join with Iraq and form some sort of group with same goal to get peace in the middle east or this will be a region destroyed by civil war.Study the mortality rates of Iraqi Childen and it will make you sick , in 5 or 10 years from now Iraqi Children will still be dying from the chemicals being used on all sides of this war.I am just wondering who they will blame then.People are forgetting Sadam’s hands didnt kill or gas these people alone .He is just one man much like Bin Ladin and Al- Zaquari .Al quada still goes on without them and Sadama’s Baath party will too .
I think the timing of his death will have short term consequences , especially with the Saudis. EID to muslims is like xmas to christians , it is a time where people forgive eachother and try to be better people. You put aside all things and dedicate it to celebrations. The saudis are upset that they killed him on this day.I think it would have been better for everyone if they waited until after Hajj .
Saddam is dead now so it will be interesting to see what happens in Iraq in 2007.

InactiveI don’t think the Americans should ever have gone back there. We had no business there then, and we have none now.
Bush just wants to go down in history as the one who brought Democracy to Arabia – fat chance.
I do believe in Democracy, or any system that allows people a vote regarding their own fate, as the best political model, but you can’t force it down people’s throats. When people are ready for it, they will establish it.

biggygMemberI think Bush should get his ass in a sling for going in Iraq.
Bush needs to work with the arab world leaders instead of Dictating to them what they HAVE to do.Iraq was all about a gallon of gas , Bush wanted control , Cheney is over there making billions right now while poor american soldier and their family suffer. My brother has served 3 years over in Afghanistan with Canadian Forces .I fully support Afghanistan and what is being accomplished there.Bush took the emotions of 9/11 and tried to connect the dots all the way to Bagdhad. The Arab Region needs to have more control of Iraq ,Iran is happy about the death of Saddam so now is the time to put out a olive branch and ask for their help to gain control of Iraq. Most of the people fighting in Iraq are not even Iraqis ,they are Syrian , Jordanian and Iranian.
