InactiveI would be very surprised if this had made it through. It muddies the bill.

vladcizsolMemberYep this is what I predicted would happen as it does muddy the waters for the patriot act. This was not the first time that idiot Oxley tried to ride in Anti Gambling legistaion on another bill and it probably wont be the last.
Lets hope this Bozo gets voted out of office before he succeeds in sneaking this thru the legislature on the back of a popular bill.

Guestwell and rightly so.
Its one thing to have an agenda, even a passion against OG.
But it is clearly not only ignorant to try and push this sort of side-issue thru by use of means of hanging it on a bill (not necessarily this exact one, but anything to do with security for home) which is designed to be voted on to resolve serious security issues;
but it is irresponsible.
So yes, the tunnel-visioned idiot should be voted out because he is proven to not be able to see the big picture; or worse; sees it but is more concerned about getting his way; than is concerned for the safety and well-being of the very people he is suppose to be representing.
and don’t try telling me his angle is the terrorist money laundering propaganda. That doesn’t even hold water with the people that tried to pass off that BS in the first place.
Money leaves a trail. Follow it; and you will have your answers.
They know this; and I’d guess after not finding the weapons of mass destruct thing, which got us where we’re at today; that everybody holding current office is a bit gunshy about looking wrong in the public eye….. again. So soon anyway.
