Greetings!
We all have seen posts with doubts concerning negative carry over issues, so let’s try to compile that information for all CAP certified programs, in an easy place for everyone to see.
The “Negative carry over thread” links to each reply. This will take a while, but it’s time well spent. I like organized information.
This way we will easily see which programs understand negative balances as advertising costs, and don’t carry over.Questions:
1) Do you carry over negative balance?
2) Is the winning player removed from the account?
3) The webmaster has to request a non negative carry over agreement?
4) Any restriction?
Thank you for your reply!

To answer your questions:
1) Do you carry over negative balance?
We do not carry over a negative balance as a result of winners…each month starts fresh. We only ever carry over a negative as a result of chargebacks
which is effectively money that the affiliate has already earned commission on. This also only comes into effect when the revenue generated in that month is not sufficient to cover the chargeback amount.2) Is the winning player removed from the account?
No. Never…that’s just unethical and is not a good long term strategy.3) The webmaster has to request a non negative carry over agreement?
No.4) Any restriction?
Only as mentioned above with regard to chargebacks. Please let me know if there is anything else?
Have a great week-end.
Best regards,
Nicole.
