Daniel – OCMemberPlease accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience caused related to the technical bugs in three of our games. We responded immediately after receiving the complaint from a Rome Casino player and after several tests managed to see the bug – We are currently in the process of fixing it and will only put it back in our system once our QA team have cleared the games and issues in question. As a software provider we certainly appreciate the constructive feedback as this helps Us and You. We have also communicated openly with the player and offered compensation related. We shall also respond to any player that had in the last two weeks played the games and feel they we inconvenienced or compromised in any way.
Thank you for the problem report as this ensure that we stay on top of our game and that we offer a proper response and urgent Fix. Thank you for playing on Topgame software and want to reassure you of our serious intent at all times.

InactiveThanks Jonathan for the update and for being very responsive to the player’s complaint. I am looking forward to adding a resolved tag to this forum post and the one on our website when the games are back up and running properly.
Edit: I’ve logged into my Rome Casino account and all 3 games in question have been pulled as of 2:40pm PST.

Honestly I’m hoping for a resolution and I would really like to believe that Jonathan is trying to get this problem with the software resolved but now after logging in to my account I think it’s all just talk and nothing else.
Yesterday I posted that all 3 games in question where removed from the software and I assumed they would not be put back until the games were fixed. Well today at 12pm pst the games are now back online and the problem still exists. No wild symbols on reels 1 and 5.
Rome Casino also put back the rules that they had removed earlier in the week that plainly states that a player needs 5 wilds symbols with a combo of all lines and max bets.

The complaint about Rome Casino’s software was posted on our forum May 26th. after several weeks of the player playing. That means (Whether Rome Casino new about it or not) that anyone that was playing these 3 games in hopes of a jackpot were in my opinion being being lied to. Again, there is no possible way of winning the jackpot.
In steps Jonathan who has appeared to be very helpful giving us plenty of positive posts about how the whole thing is going to be fixed and even offering a few bonuses to the player that brought this all to our attention.
The games Jonathan told us had been pulled and fixed but in reality they were never pulled at all until last night. Now they are back online with absolutely nothing fixed at all. In other words everyone that has been playing those games is being taken advantage of and has been for quite sometime.
The player has been extremely patient and frankly so have we but after logging into Rome today I’ve lost my patience and it’s very clear that Rome’s software is fraudulent and that talk from them is rather cheap. They continue at this moment to allow players to play a jackpot game that has a zero chance of hitting the jackpot that is obviously used as bait.
So as of today we have no choice but to Blacklist Rome Casino to protect players from being taken advantage of on these 3 games.

CaptainetteMemberHello Jonathan,
Can you please verify if Diablo 13, Douguies Delights and Wild 7’s were the only games affected by this? Did any other game not pay out correctly as well and was only Rome Casino affected by this?June 18, 2009 at 3:44 am #800970
Daniel – OCMemberHi
ok the games were pulled and checked – and put back yesterday – BUT not in the Jackpot area – most of the confusion is related that the wild symbols are required to win the Jackpot now that is true but not so in the normal game were the wild can appear in any line.
so to clear maybe any confusion – the wild symbols missing in line 1 and 5 is only related to the Jackpot games and not relevant in the normal game – The jackpot games are not back yet.
anybody can contact me personally if he believes he was inconvenienced in any way
hope this clears it up

JonathanCould you please explain this screenshot of the Diablo 13 Jackpot game I just took minutes ago? I found it under “JACKPOT GAMES”. Weird huh?? I mean am I the crazy one here or is what Jonathan stated about ALL the jackpot games being pulled simply not true?
Aside from that there is absolutely ZERO difference in the Diablo 13 jackpot game and what Jonathan calls the “normal games”. Both show a jackpot and the payout area says a player can win the jackpot by hitting 5 wilds on all lines with max bets.
Edit: Oh yeah, and the wilds are STILL missing on reels 1 and 5 so every second that goes by Rome Casino player’s are being scammed thinking they can hit a jackpot.

InactiveI’ve been following this thread, but haven’t posted because I don’t promote any Top Game properties. I have to say, though, that ‘it won’t let you enter’ is not a solution more a whole different set of problems.
Let’s say I was a slots player and I – not knowing about the issue here – wanted to play the Diablo 13 jackpot game. I find that, for some reason, I am blocked. What is going to be my first thought?
It’s not going to be ‘ah, there’s a problem with missing wild symbols on reels 1 and 5 so they’ve disabled the jackpot game for all players’, that’s for sure.

InactiveHey Dom, is it kosher if I post a link to the Casinomeister thread relating to this issue?
I don’t see here where anything has been addressed either as to how ALL (as in each and every one) of the players who played these games will be compensated? Any other solution is simply unacceptable IMO. I don’t know how much money we’re talking, but the required amount per spin to win these jackpots in the first place is astronomical – $45 a spin (9 lines @ $5 per line) for Douguies Delights and $65 a spin (13 lines @ $5 per line) for Diablo 13. If I had that kind of money to be taking $50 spins on a slot, and then found out I never had a chance to even win the jackpot, I’d be furious.
And this went on for weeks, it was NOT taken care of immediately.
Also in question is why the jackpot of $192,000 has been removed from the Douguie’s Delights game by Topgame, weeks PRIOR to all of this coming to light, or so they say anyway. It was removed prior to May 26th, yet according to Jonathan’s posts on the Casino Scam forum…the games themselves weren’t removed until this past Tuesday, June 16th. Why was the jackpot removed? He says it will be reinstated, I certainly hope that is the case.
Anyway Dom, please let me know if I can post the link? I’m sure there must be at least a few people here, maybe even a few affected players, who could benefit from reading the thread over there. Topgame is digging themselves a very deep hole here by ignoring this situation, and Bryan’s questions to them.
