InactiveI am sure there is someone here who has had a lot of good come from promoting bonuses.
I believe that with bonuses comes people who try to scam the casino. If you go with bonus promotion, make sure you are NOT using CPA. They will shut you down.
Otherwise, look for a $1 – $10 per player earning

That’s my experience with it. Like I said, others have had better luck. I think it’s a difficult road.

InactiveI actually tried to get rid of google listings for bonuses because it draws a ton of players who aren’t worth the bandwidth they use.
I gave up, google does what it wants to, period.
Now I try to pull that traffic to game specific pages and arouse a different interest in them.
Some people are doing well with bonus players, but not me.

InactiveIf you think your visitors would benefit from reading about the various bonus reviews, then you should add it. Would you rather have a potential customer read about the bonuses on another site? It’s a decision you will have to make.

InactiveI’m sure I have good players that at first came for the bonuses.
And I think it’s a good start.

InactiveNot a fan myself – def worth mentioning them though as, like Mark eludes to, it completes the information. But i would stop short of putting the emphasis on the bonus. After all a signup bonus is a one-time offer. If someone is that interested in them, chances are they’ll move around and not stay loyal – pass-through traffic only.
Concentrate on the loyalty bonuses if you must “do” bonuses though…but again, i’d argue players more interested in the bonuses are not necessarily seasoned players and are less likely to appreciate the real benefits such as CS, cashout speeds etc.
Best to go for more interesting information, preferably unique, or as unique as possible anyway!
Cheers

InactiveI think reviewing the bonuses is a huge pain because it is impossible to stay on top of it. It changes so frequently that you will always be out of date.

InactiveYou will get people that are interested in bonuses that go beyond the sign up bonus. A review on bonuses not only adds content, it gives the visitor a little more insight about the whole process of bonuses especially if you compare the types of bonuses in a frank manner. Remembering to emphasize that with certain bonuses or certain casinos, there is a limit to what they can cash out. Let them see that the benefits of accepting some bonuses are not worth it. One way that I handle it is to stress the reason for bonuses, explain the wagering requirements and try to weigh the information so that the player can make a choice as to whether he/she wants to accept a bonus. They will appreciate the manner that you present it, instead of pushing a bonus on them, you let them know it is offered but you also give them a ‘Buyer Beware’ side of it without making the casino appear dishonest.

InactiveThe more valuable players are not seeking for bonus, for sure, but as I said earlier I got some good players that at first glance were looking for match bonuses.
I also had good players looking for no deposit bonuses that end up depositing money. Gambling Wages casinos do know how to transform a no deposit player into a depositing one.

InactiveIT depends on the bonus .. and the player … and the …
OK .. it just depends !!

My site is generally about current matches (sports) betting, and that is the main thrust of the site … here is a match preview .. here at the best odds and prices (either way – if you disagree then bet the other way) …
This is the meat of the site and gets literally a million page views a month.
(See http://www.goonersguide.com/match_detail.php?matchID=812 for an example)I’ve got a general bookie guide which gets a bit of traffic ..
(see http://www.goonersguide.com/Bookie_Guide.html )However, I also include a “free bets” or bonus page as well. It gets around 3000 to 5000 reads a month.
(see http://www.goonersguide.com/gooners_free.htm )I also include a “Gaming Guide” which certainly mentions the bonuses … but they are just one of a number of points covered.
( see http://www.goonersguide.com/Gaming_Guide.html )
I think that 90% of the traffic that I deal with want to know about the bonuses if they’re considering a new place to gamble. We all know that a new player is considered valuable and that is the time to hoover up the free bets.If I didn’t cover the bonuses – then I’m not sure that I’d close many sales …
