My revenue completely fell off a cliff with Absolute Poker over the last 3 months. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Very weird. I was doing allright with them for a long time, and then the money just dried up, almost completely.

Absolute was the best it has ever been for me this month, 500% more than any otherpayment. All other properties were down though.

    Randy … some thoughts ?

I’ve not got into the Absolute Poker scheme yet.
But here is where my thinking would be …

    Do they report by player?
    If so …

    Are active player numbers down?
Perhaps it’s not a poker time of year?

Have you been getting good signup numbers recently?
If not then that will start to bite – you need to keep the pipeline going.

Have you lost a couple of whales?
Does AbsolutePoker support rakeback – have players been poached?

Which scenario seems to explain your drop ?

Starting in September they changed the way they calculated commissions.

absolute does support affiliate rakebacks, and many players who read the message boards, are signing up with affiliates that support a rakeback deal….
that is my thoughts, on why it has dropped.
