winner.comMemberI just started with referback so I don’t know about them
BUT alot of places are really sucking these days
Example 1 From July 1 –855 Hits 1 sign up for 25.00
Example 2 This Month — 88 Hits 33 Downloads 0 Players (and a charge back – lucky me)
Example 3 From —July 1 410 Hits 28 Downloads 1 New player
Example 4 From Aug 1 200 Hits 47 downloads 1 new player
Somethings going on with these operators – most of them I’ve been with for 5 years plus

InactiveWell, I’ve been with them for going on 10 years or so. Lately, there seems to be no retention and initial player value is negligible. It’s like I am sending players into a black hole.
I tend to compare programs with the same software and exposure, and of all the MGS programs, Referback stands way out for sucking air these days.
It’s sad to see, really. Used to be a great program.

winner.comMemberI wasn’t going to join , but I met a couple people at niagara falls – so i did.
But I have to say my other microgaming affiliate programs are pissing me the F@(K OFF
non cash incentives, unused money not carried forward to the next month, 1500 in progressive contributions

misswiggMemberI would tend to agree here, Referback have by far the worst conversions if I am comparing them to same software different programs I promote. Its such a shame as they have great support.

neerajMemberIm am seeing a very similar thing this month with all my microgaming programs, granted i have only been sending players to casinos for the past 4 months (im new to this, 8 months in and loving it) . Heres a quick rundown, at wagershare (which has been converting great the past 2 months) from start of september ,13 sign ups, 1 depositor, 1 deposit ($15). At brightshare, 7 sign ups, 1 depositer, 1 deposit. At fortune affiliates, 9 sign ups, 2 depositors (-$720.00) grr. At referback 77 clicks, 4 downloads, 1 sign up, 0 deposits. Just seems strange, but i havent been in this buisness long enough to make a judgement, im just thankfull my other casinos are doing well and the mobile sites are converting great.

I remember when RB was the program to promote, emulate, and send traffic to. What changed? New team? New management?

PaolinoMemberAlthough I really like the guys, I’ve had to reduce my exposure to them, because the performance has been really poor compared to other MG groups.
I still send a trickle of traffic, in hope of seeing some better results.

InactiveI can’t particularly point out only Referback, but can honestly say that ALL microgaming casinos for me produce no results, yet Playtech and RTG give me brilliant results across the board.
I don’t know whether it is a case of many gamblers already having accounts at the older microgaming casinos, but then why aren’t they playing? because I am not even seeing any existing players playing let alone new players.
In the past I have always pushed microgaming casinos and still do, in the hope that I will eventually get players…but when it comes to the top positions on my sites – they don’t go to microgaming casinos anymore – they go to playtech!September 16, 2011 at 1:50 pm #818526Anonymous
InactiveNot sure how much of it applies in todays terms, but I remember it was commonly though that MGS and RTG were great for North America, and Playtech was great for Europe.
But since then we’ve had new software released on both platforms.

InactiveMost MGS still perform for me when I send traffic. But not Referback. And this is not a one month trend – it’s been over a year or more now.

bsmartMemberThis is really interesting Dom, and thanks for posting…
I’ve always had a superb relationship with the R’back team (well, the forwardslash team, I was on a custom CPA for a long time) and recently switched up to rev as cashflow had improved…and TBH I thought my $ would drop….I was wrong (don’t you hate that!).
In my marketing systems, I have a lot of contact with my players and all I ever hear is how awesome the JPC/GC/LC support staff are and with my bigger players, the retention team certainly hook them up.
The 50x playthrough on signup bonuses does hurt and is hard to promote around when Wager do 30x, but I’m still getting value from Referback properties, when I thought they would soon be put out to pasture.
I put a lot of value on the personal relationships I have with the programs and you really cant go past Roxane, Jolene and Shane as top people to deal with.
Sorry to hear you’re not getting much value out of r’back any more, I’ve found they work really well in Australian/NZ/SA markets and their latest promo of free tickets to the rugby world cup (just down the road from me!) might be worth a nudge in your next newsletter?
OK, now I sound like I work for them…..I don’t. They’re good though, don’t chuck them just yet!
(again, thanks for such an honest post, so many of these forums are mod’d by puppets doing paid service announcements)

InactiveA few months ago, when Rewards was not converting for me and they were involved with all the cross-promoting stuff (primary factor) – I stared replacing CR and adding in RB … it was the first time I had added Referback to my sites in 6+ years …
Much to my surprise, every month I have received a payment each one increasing in size. They have remained in constant contact with me each month since being added and when ever I have a question its answered very quickly.
After Vegas Affiliates shafted me, and after Brightshare played games with ASUSA I had to look for an MGS alternative – IMO right now Referback is looking like they are the way to go.

InactiveI have to agree about the aff managers. They are top notch. And that is why I kept them up so long after they tanked for me – I figured with good support staff players would come around too.
But – I guess it proves once more, what works for one site won’t work for another.
I won’t cut them off alltogether, but the days of periodic good exposure are gone, I am afraid.
They can keep bottom positions, and if I see positive movement, they can work themselves up the ladder like everyone else who starts from scratch.
I am glad to see some are still doing ok with them. For me, it just seems that every player I send them is a dud, and that is totally opposite to what is normally the case for me with almost all other programs.
Nowfindadam, I am not paid here.
I just volunteer some extra time. So – no puppeteering here

InactiveReferback was solid until the US players were wiped, then its been sun $1000 payments for me. I love Cobus my aff manager so I Keep them around and do see new player each month. Retention does suck as the player values are super low and it appears they dont stay past 2 months. All the casino Rewards programs took a giant dice as well when US players left and Ive always heard US players are the big spenders. But then I see playtech programs producing far better revenue with far less players month after month so that can not be the entire case. I shrug to say I think Microgaming may be skimming the top players from affiliates.
