It’s probably not a good idea to send traffic to any Referback Casinos.
I still have a link or two to them somewhere in the far reaches of my site (I’ll be flushing them out today), and here are my stats with Referback over the past couple of months:
Number of visits: 1,909
Number of downloads: 136
Number of Guest accounts: 31
Number of Real accounts: 5
Number of new Real accounts Purchasing: 1
Total number of purchasing accounts: 1
Number of Closed real accounts: 0Total income: 70 CENTS
When I asked my aff manager wtf is going on, I got the b.s. answer that “the traffic you send may not be all that interested in gambling”…………….(What the hell?????)…….. and the standard “give our banners more exposure – send up more traffic”…..(yeah, like I just fell out of a turnip truck – d’oh!)

April 13, 2004 at 4:45 pm #647960AnonymousInactiveRB have had issues with performance for at least a year now
… they are not recommended for optimum preformance …
in other words it would be better to send your traffic elsewhere.
April 13, 2004 at 5:48 pm #647963AnonymousInactiveWell, I’m sitting proudly on $1.73 for the month, so I’ve got you beat there, Fergie. Have made $200 each month for the last couple of months though, but that’s the less than I spend on cigars in a week, so it’s nothing much to write home about either.
April 15, 2004 at 4:42 am #648015AnonymousGuestsurprisingly to me as much as anybody, they were my best producers last month and that’s on residual income basically.
I’ve heard they’re trying to get back some of their affs and ifso; its working, as I gave lucky nugget, the one making money, some limited exposure on my sites.
go figure?
oh, and some of the places I increased traffic to; have made less.
apparently the secret to success that works at RB may also work other places.
send less. make more.
I can do that.
April 15, 2004 at 5:04 am #648016AnonymousGuestI trust that Referback performs well for affiliates who have been with them for a while.
I believe the problem is only with newcomers – the cross-trafficing/marketing has their casinos pretty-well tied up, and anyone who hasn’t had a new account signed up with them is sending them repeat traffic, and lining the pockets of affiliates who may have sent the same players to them years ago.
I don’t think the low conversion rate is due to any tinkering with stats.
It’s a waste of time for newer affiliates to market them – the casinos are very well exposed, and the odds of sending them someone “NEW”, who isn’t branded with another affiliate’s code is lower than industry average.
That’s my take on it.

April 15, 2004 at 7:08 am #648021AnonymousGuestYes yes, it is coming clear to me now!
The amount of traffic you send is inversley related to the amount of money you make!
Such a simple equation: where (t) represents traffic and (i) represents income, and (p) represents number of p
