InactiveHi there all,
As was to be expected along with no new sign ups from the USA there has also been a decision taken to approach the closure of US based casino account in a phased manner.
The player account above was one the accounts closed in phase 1 of this process.

InactivePlease explain this phased manor, and why if other micros are allowing existing players you are not? This is not going to sit well with me when it comes to the point that USA players are allowed to play once again although I hold all of Referback team members in the very highest of regards, I will be looking at these actions when it comes exposure.

I suspect, that all micro at some point will stop US players?
I can understand the method of the phase out, the attrition rate of players means that as players fall off and stop playing, they are replaced by non US players and that as the NON US player value increases, the next level of US players are stopped.
Its like a see saw, slowly bring down the number of US players, and increase the number of non US players.
You cant do it too fast, because their is a cost involved in acquiring players, and on average 30-40% of one months new players will play into month 2, and then fewer into month 3, and 4. The longer a player plays, their player value increases.
You cant just put the brakes on all US players, because then a company is running on fumes, like Ladbrokes.
Its really a value of player over time equation now? Its a smart way of pulling out of the market while still being able to operate.

InactiveBe fair. This isn’t a Referback decision, it’s come down from Belle Rock Entertainment who themselves answer to Carmen Media. If you choose to believe the MGS announcement as to why this is all happening, it’s because “one or two” of their biggest licencees asked for it. I think I’m right in saying that Carmen Media also have an interest in Fortune Lounge and in Microgaming themselves.
Hardly Referback’s fault.

InactiveI just had a very long convo with a player from my forum,he asked me to call him because he had some info and a ton of chats saved from over the weekend as his accounts were closed one after another. I will hold off on posting I want to hear what Referback has to say first.

InactiveYes, it looks like they’ve already closed all of the U.S. player accounts.
I do blame ReferBack for closing the existing player accounts.. especially when I don’t
see any closed accounts in the statistics for any of the other MGS affiliate programs. The real questions are.. why did they need to remove all existing players now? why couldn’t
they have waited and let affiliates continue to reap the rewards over the holiday season? This isn’t positive motivation to promote their casinos in prime spots anymore.

Referback will have absolutely no control over, or involvement with, players and their accounts. The closures will have been done by BRE, that you can be 100% positive of.

It would only be a hoax IMO if the casino continued to profit and just cut us out. Hopefully, when the US comes back, the players we tagged originally will remain tagged to us if they return.

InactiveIt doen’t matter which company arm is responsible, this is a serious blow to affiliates.
