Seems like a good compromise to me also. While it may seem a little confusing I do think its an honest attempt to improve cash flow for affiliates (a good thing).

June 4, 2004 at 1:35 pm #650097AnonymousInactiveGreat Thread, I was just looking at the poker stats and scratching my head.
Now that its explained it makes alot of sense and to me seems like the best of both worlds.
I’d love to see this model for straight casino accountsJune 4, 2004 at 8:29 pm #650119AnonymousGuestRB has really performed well for me since I’ve taken down 95% of their links, but I’ve never really tried promoting their poker rooms.
I had been basically only promoting the CR version of the prima poker rooms but just recently to my great and unhappy surprise, did I find out that the bulk of the money I’ve been making thru them has been from one player.
That sucks big time because I’ve been sending them considerable traffic. so I’m looking to replace them and this cpa deal sounds good.
I’m always one to be “bit once, shy twice” but in the case of RB’s poker deal, I think I will make an exception and give them a try.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I’d never have known about it otherwise. ( I seldom read the emails from aff programs. they’re mostly always the same ol’ shit and I really love the “special” offers they want to make that last just long enough for me to have to go turn right around and go back and take the damn things down.
somebody should tell the rocket scientist that came up with the idea of a special bonus that lasts only a few days, or even only a month; that I got better things to do than to run around changing their damn bonus offers on all my sites twice a month.
It don’t happen.

June 4, 2004 at 9:08 pm #650122AnonymousGuestI’ve taken down most of their links – all except the free games :p
And I still haven’t made any money with them.
Over 2,000 visitors and I’ve made about 60 cents!rofl!
June 6, 2004 at 8:07 am #650185AnonymousInactiveAfter Lawrence left my affiliate manager was Kamiel. He answered all my emails quickly, helped me with quite a bit and we made some good money with them off poker, still do.
About a month ago I emailed Kamiel and was answered by Shane, who helped where he could. Now I log in and get Simone as my manager.
I emailed her and she replied she’s away til the 14th….sure hope this stops soon, sick of building a nice relationship with someone there and they disappear.
As for the CPA it’s okay, nice to get some cash in now, but we’re negative -$1070 that’s a lot of poker playing to make up!
