    Hi guys,

I’ve had a big problem with William Hill through Reef Media. Has anyone worked with them too?
Basically we set up a CPA where each player should deposit the minimum amount of 20€.
The thing is we’ve promoted the offer everywhere and we know that we should be getting at least some dozens of players. They credited us with one CPA. That’s just impossible for the impact of the actions we’ve made. And then they said it was William Hill’s fault for not crediting the CPA’s and saying there were no numbers etc.
I don´t have a clue of how to solve this.
Reef says they’re in touch with William Hill but it’s been 2 months now so I’m not hanging much to that..
Any help would be really welcome :)

    Thanks a lot again!

    Hey tomasilva,

We (ihreConsulting) made the mistake in referring you to ReefMedia with the hopes you could send generic traffic as you said you could.

Not knowing what type of traffic you normally send, it might be super! However in this case it was marked fraud/ incentivized from all angels. There is not a program out there that would pay that type of CPA for (the) player you sent.

Also out of curiosity how come you have transaction history screenshots from this single player in the first place?

Kindly please do not use our deals more going forward.

    Have a nice day.

    Thanks, Tomas

    Hi Thomas,

A couple of things in your response strike me as strange.

    1. Not knowing what type of traffic you normally send.
    2. in this case it was marked fraud/ incentivized from all angels. (angles)

How did tomasina manage to be referred to ReefMedia/WillHill by your company, in the first place?

Point one (1) indicates you had no prior marketing relationship with this affiliate. Which, given how things are in the industry these days, (point 2 sums that up), I’m surprised your company doesn’t pre-screen /veto unknown CPA affiliates.

Even more bizarre your company refers this affiliate to ReefMedia/WillHill.

This affiliate comes back and claims he’s owed money. And your washing your hands of it.

It’s too easy for programs/casinos to claim CPA fraud. Especially given your side of events, for me it makes the fraud claim even less believable. Either way someone is BS here, IMHO.

I wanted to Bump this as Thomas has made statements regarding fraud but still not responded. Albeit it’s holiday season but it wasn’t when I asking for more info from him on the 7’th December 2012. Which was 20 days ago.

    Hey Dave,

Hope your xmas break was nice.

We don’t wash our hands of deals as you can see from the fact we responded to this forum thread. I also PM:d the affiliate since my last response.

As for printscreens, no I personally do not ask all new affiliates for proofs of past results. If they do like to share this info of course I welcome it as it would certainly help a lot in some situations.

In this case we offered the affiliate a CPA deal after some discussions going back and forth but unfortunately the traffic was not qualified by the operator and the CPA for that one player was never paid out.

I like to point out that I only have experience of the affiliate from this short and unsuccesful campaign. He might very well be sending good quality traffic elsewhere.

    Cheers, Tomas

People, especially programs, tend to respond to forum threads to save face/reputation.

How many players did this affiliate send, it must have been more than one?
And how many of these didn’t qualify (obviouisly all of them), but opened an account?

If the affiliate sent more than one player who didn’t qualify, then WillHill hasn’t lost anything but gained free players. Whereas the affiliate has nothing and gets a big fat $0!

    Hey Dave,

As far as I know the affiliate (at the time) had sent one CPA that was later disqualified.
